    Hi,
Waiting on a mortgage application with Bluestone. Does anyone know if they contact your employer and if so what do they ask for? Our HR dept is notoriously slow! Thanks

I emailed our HR department making them aware they may receive an email reference and requested they respond within 48 hours of receipt otherwise they would be hindering my mortgage. They've confirmed they will prioritise it for a same day response when the email lands
  • Finally - mortgage approved pending valuation which is booked for Friday! Just need that to come back ok!
Brilliant news! You really have had a fastracked service! #excitingtimes
  • Hi all. We are currently waiting for the offer. According to our MA we are now at the mandatory senior underwrite stage and all documents have been accepted. Valuation was 24th Oct. We submitted what appears to be the last of the “missing documents” on Monday. Just wondered how long it took for others to get the offer after this point?
Also did anyone have special conditions on their offer? I’m a bit panicky that they will ask us to pay off debt (we only have £10k on a credit card to fund a car purchase but finding another £10k at this stage will be stressful!)

Just hope its not more waiting after valuation! Need to be exchanged by 27th Nov!
Looking to remortgage December 2022 onto a better rate!
  • Does anyone know if they do a further credit check before completion?

Currently with Bluestones final underwritter... MA told us we should have decision midweek this week, however nothing so far. Earlier this week Bluestone underwritter asked how I would travel to work despite being told I will be working remotely for the foreseeable. By train the journey is 1hr to London from the property we wish to purchase, my MA calmly reported back to Bluestone. We are a wreck, not sure we can manage another weekend without a decision!
