    Just to pre-warn everyone, they are not currently issuing offers.
    They will still carry on with your application, but with everything being up in the air they appear to be putting offers on hold.

    I am lead to believe there are no plans for them to pull applications or re-price them and that they just want to ensure they are not left with obligations they can not fulfil should the worst happen. Its obviously a strange time so probably no guarantees.

    Very frustrating, but there is not much that can be done.

    @ACG where did this information come from? Nothing on their website and broker hasn’t informed of anything?
    Or is this with all lenders at the moment?

    My account manager on Friday.
    They are not actively emailing people. For all they know, it could be sorted by Tuesday in which case most people wont even find out it happened.

    Oh ok.. so it’s not definite then. I’m in the middle of a remortgage application, thinking they are no longer making offers is stressing me out!

    @ACG, thanks for the update
    We were expecting to receive our offer on Friday but haven’t heard anything yet. Our MA is chasing things up. Do you happen to know if this pause is a matter of days or weeks by any chance?

    Thanks

    Will do. No offer yet unfortunately. I’m guessing they may hold back until they know what their revised rates are. Not clear whether they’ll be passing these rates to us or not. I worry we won’t be able to proceed if they do which will be very frustrating; especially as it’s taken us 8 weeks to get here!

    Ive no idea, but I think it is likely to be days rather than weeks.

    I’ve spoken to my broker today who made no reference to a pause on offers after phoning Bluestone for an update. He did say however underwriting SLAs have increased to 4 days.

    Quick update for you...
    Bluestone have launched some new products (higher rates).
    If you have an offer you are safe. If you have made an application but do not yet have an offer you are going to have to pick one of the higher rates.

    I am sure your brokers are as annoyed as you are, try and go easy on them there is not a lot they can do.
