Our application went in on the 18th Feb, had a request for more docs yesterday, but other than that i know nothing about whats happening and not been give a time frame for anything.
I'm feeling a little impatient, because even though we've only submitted over a week ago, it took us 6 weeks from our dip for our broker to actually get the application put in.
I'm hoping things will start to speed up from here.0 -
@jodietemp .. same as you … was submitted on the 11th .. more info yesterday about payments from my son and daughter .. both over 18 .. send money for me to save for them .. basically wanted to know who they were .. and had to re send a retirement form as partner put 75 instead of 74 when it ends and they wouldn’t just amend it being a legal document.. hoping it’s not another 10 days for them to look at it again .. buying a new build , was supposed to exchange feb 7th .. I knew that wouldn’t happen tough 😩x0

we've sent in all ID, bank statements, deposit evidence, payslips, p60, rent payments, adverse credit explanation and the declaration form, and answered a hundred questions about bank transactions, but i know they will still ask for more.
my estate agents, who have been very patient with me so far are starting to ask questions now about updates, and i cant tell them anything, i don't know anything about where its at or when valuation is likely.
i'll keep an eye on your progress, looks like were very similar timing. fingers crossed we get some updates soon.1 -

@Jadietemp yeah exactly the same, although we are both self employed so had to give accounts .. etc too .. I’m sure the only thing they can ask for now is a blood sample 😂 on a positive note I don’t think they’d go this far if they were going to decline 🤞and I’ve read every post on this thread and not many have had a no x0

Im in the same situation as you, my application went in on the 15th, submitted further documents they asked for, not heard anything since, so frustrating. I’ve booked a phone call with my MA on Thursday for an update, it’s an anxious time0 -
@Hooefullyhopeful I think the same. I don’t see why they would ask for all this and create work for themselves if it was a no. They don’t make any money otherwise! Our broker also doesn’t get paid unless we get accepted so I think he would just say it looks unlikely by now.1

For everyone who is going through the process, hang in there. We were lucky and it was a month from submitting the full application to getting an offer but you will get there. We’re now waiting on the solicitors to get their act together!1
