Apparently Bluestone currently taking 3 working days to consider pre underwritten applications.
Has anyone heard of people being refused after full application with Simply?
We are going to have an anxious weekend I think!
There's only a couple of people in this thread who've been declined.
You won't do your stress levels any good as all circumstances are different. Keep fingers and toes crossed as you wait to hear.0 -
Do Bluestone keep asking for payslips/ bank statements etc after offer? Just want to make sure we don't shoot ourselves in the foot at the final hurdle for any reason0

Not usually, only if an extension is requested.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -
Hi everyone. We have had to wait 3 weeks for the valuation since we paid. The valuation is due this Wednesday. As its been quite long, once the valuation goes to Bluestone I understand then it should be the final underwriting review... would they request more info again? We started this mortgage process beginning of May and it just seems to be taking forever.0

I have read that it goes back to underwriting after the valuation and more docs being requested - fingers crossed this doesn’t happen for you 🤞🏼0 -

so we sent our mortgage application to bluestone yesterday, I've sent them way more information than they asked for as they never asked about medical compensation payouts and medical armed forces pensions i sent this all along to hopefully speed up the process with less back and forth. Fingers crossed now ill keep everyone updated on the process!!1

We received confirmation that our application was accepted, subject to formal underwriting on 14th September and requested more documents, which was sent to them on 17th September - then on 22nd sept they came back asking for employer contact email addresses and a debt con application - which we then sent on first thing 23rd September. They’ve now come back today asking for a new signed declaration as they’ve updated their terms of business! So will be sending that tonight. I’m guessing it’s not even reached uw stage yet! Dreading what they request for during underwriting!0

Hi. We submitted our application on 17th September. Documents were requested on 20th for bank statements for another personal account, employer reference contact, proof of 24 months mortgage payments plus a credit commitment form. Sent all back the same day. Then 22nd there were a couple of questions re bank statements.I was told it went to underwriter on Friday and have today had a request for more documents plus questioning more transactions on my bank statement. There are a few gambling transactions on my husbands personal bank statement, doesn’t look great as that is all he uses this account for plus purchases but nothing major, there is no overdraft or unauthorised borrowing. Really stressed at the minute as it seems to be never ending!0
