I’m stressed too... my application was submitted 19th August and still coming back with questions and is taking forever. Fingers crossed not too long now 😭0

I’m not sure mines even gone to underwriting yet! What types of questions are they asking - are they genuine ones or being very picky?0
-
It’s in the final stages of underwriting. Came back requesting more months of bank statements, questions about deposits, wanted a landlord reference, wanted some tax stuff (hubby’s self employed), now want more money, now want another few months bank statements for the deposit account. It’s just stressful but hopefully why have enough now! 🤞Kerrylou2 said:I’m not sure mines even gone to underwriting yet! I’ve been asked about transactions on my bank statements, me and my mom pay £20 a week into an account, we use it for trips out like London, going to the theatre etc. I had to explain that. Also had to provide proof of debts we have settled recently. I’ve discovered today my MA only put we have 1 dependent on my application but we have 2! That could affect affordability apparently so could come back requesting we put more of a deposit down.. which we can’t do as we are at our max as it is. Hopefully we hear more tomorrow, my MA said they are quite quick at the minuteKerrylou2 said:I’m not sure mines even gone to underwriting yet! I can’t believe they ask about those type of transactions - they’ll have a field day on ours with the amount of food takeaways and Amazon purchases 🙈 hopefully that won’t impact it too much, especially if your application has got this far!Willowlou said:

Our case is currently with an underwriter - am expecting questions but fingers crossed all goes ok 🤞🏼 Question re valuation - I’m applying for a remortgage - will they still do a valuation of the property? If so - are the fees included in the mortgage or do u need to pay the valuation fee upfront? Thanks 👍🏼0
