This is my second broker and my journey with him started 4th April. My first broker we started in January..its been a long old slog.Jen271626 said:
No I believed we'd applied on the 10th of May. But was later informed it took the packager two weeks to submit it. Im buying the house I rent off my dad, so it was me who arranged the valuation 🤣HS1234 said:
That's good timing if it only took a month. So I will wait to hear your good news before I heard anything back on mineJen271626 said:
I think it was possibly the 24th as I had another search done then on my credit file. We applied 24th May.HS1234 said:
When was your case handed over to the underwriter? @Jen271626HS1234 said:
I live in east London and their office’s in Southend 🤣. I’ll harass her tomorrow lunchtime.Jen271626 said:
Oh no, think id physically go in to the estate agents.HS1234 said:
Our request for valuation came through today. I quickly paid it and my MA emailed the estate agents to let her know so she can take the house off the market. Unfortunately she’s not responding or coming to the phone.Jen271626 said:Iv booked the valuation for next Wednesday as I'm away till Monday. Iv got all they need over and I'm going to take it as a positive that we have been progressed to valuation.
Iv got my valuation this Thursday now.
. How do you know when the valuation is booked? Did you contact the estate agent?0 -
Oh that's good at least you're aware of things on both endsJen271626 said:

I'm hoping now that they are moving to valuation its a good sign 🤞 I'm really praying this is over soon..I can't wait to live life without all this hanging over me anymore. My broker told me today they had come back a couple of times to him for things he could provide without hassling me, so its definitely moving forwards.HS1234 said:

People who have completed that never got a hard search, when did your mortgage appear on your credit file?0

Hi all,
I’ve been following this thread since we applied on April 1st. We finally had our offer today!! Keep the faith, it will happen x3 -
My packager already did the valuation before even submitting our application to Bluestone so literally have no idea of what's good what's not, heard today saying its now with the underwriters even tho we believed it was already with them, so don't even know what we are waiting for0

we paid £325 for our valuation last Tuesday. I’ve asked the estate agent if he’s heard anything but as of today he hasn’t. How long does it take to book a valuation in and will
i know if they just do a desk top one?0 -
Not sure if you have seen this before - you will likely follow the same process without the valuation part being needed.Littlekay said:My packager already did the valuation before even submitting our application to Bluestone so literally have no idea of what's good what's not, heard today saying its now with the underwriters even tho we believed it was already with them, so don't even know what we are waiting for

I'm not 100% sure, maybe stick your question on the mortgage broker ask me anything thread, hopefully one of them will know and be able to advise 🤞Foreverwaiting123 said:Hi, if the seller is required as part of my mortgage offer to do work prior to me buying the house and he then increases the house cost to cover the repairs (which I would agree to ) will it mean starting over again with bluestone or will they just add the extra 2 grand in and carry on 😓1
