Congratulations! I can imagine the relief is a whole other level! 🎉
  • Does anyone know on Bluestones website where it says 'Assessing fully packaged cases on 14th june' is that the day it was all submitted by the broker or the day it went to underwriting?
Ours was classed as fully submitted on 27/5 they were happy with it on 3/6 and was passed to underwriters on the 8/6
when the website said they were processing 3/6 this was when we had requests from underwriter for more documents so for our case they went by the date that they were happy with the application rather than the date it was with underwriter.

I think I'm done, I'm due pulling the plug now. Got a list of stuff they want - asking who my daughter is as she's on the electoral register - they have my child benefit award letter infront of them (its 16 to vote in Scotland and she's still in full time education). I need my home report updated or a valuation done by them when I have already paid £450 for a home report in February. My husband has to fill in a self employment declaration. They are asking for his manufacturing account- no idea what this is. He said itl then be another 13 working days for an update. I just can't mentally do it anymore. My dad needs to pay his lender now anyway so leaning towards just holding off till next year now. So stressed with it all.

Sorry it wasn't the update you needed. I can't understand why they're asking for a self employed declaration this far in and not from the start? We have hit a brick wall on numerous occasions with them and it's so draining! We've given up chasing our broker because it's always the same answer "no news yet".

Okay so figured out the main thing that was stressing me they are asking for, is their error. My husband does work for a company called  (husbands first name manufacturing) its actually his friends business and his surname is my husbands first name. They have asked for the accounts for that business 🙄

Il sort a valuation and get my husbands declaration filled in by him then shouldn't be too bad. Just another long wait. Hope some of you have had better news.

We are pleased to confirm that your customer(s) application has been passed to the underwriting team for assessment.

Unfortunately the SLA's are not great at the moment with Bluestone and are working on 13 working days. Hopefully this will reduce and I will let you know when I receive an update.
