I don’t think they are as bothered as you think as long as affordability is ok but I know where you are coming from as I was the same!0

We're paying off everything with some of our equity and are looking at 54% LTV with a HTB equity loan.
We still haven't had an update today, I'm so worried it's not going to be good news 😩0 -
Awwww that’s so annoying hopefully you find out tomorrow 🤞🏻0

That’s good to know @fingerscrossed7. Can’t help but overthink everything.

My situation was horrendous!! Numerous pay day loans over about 3 years, default on credit file and missed payments. My pay day loan use was within the past 6 months on application. However bluestone achieved my dream and I’ve now been living in my lovely new home for 4 months. They can be slow.. they took about a month for the offer to be accepted however my situation was one of the horrible ones and I managed to get a mortgage.I just wanted to let people know that there is success at the end of the most stressful period ever! It’s so worth it in the end. Please stay positive

Hi. Great news re your mortgage 👍. Our buyers are with bluestone and we were expecting them to get an answer today re their mortgage offer but I think we were being overly optimistic. Can you tel me what their process was with you. Ie DIP, then underwriting? Then offer? Our buyers have said it’s gone to underwriters but we thought it already had? There application went in on 9th July? we’ve got another offer on our house and don’t know whether to go with the other offer as we have a house we want and might lose it if there’s too much delay. Thanks in advance xhopeful370 said:We got our offer through in writing today!! I’m still in disbelief I can’t beleive it! It was so painless and took a total of 3 weeks from full application to official offer, which is quicker than most banks at the moment! I’m over the moon finally going to be a homeowner! And was much less stressful than I thought it would be!

The process is DIP, application, underwriter, valuation, underwriter, offer.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
They go through many steps. We applied on 24th June and have only just today received a verbal offer (written offer to follow within 48 hours). Bluestone are also taking longer than 'normal' timescales at the moment so I'd imagine you should expect to wait a minimum of another 2 weeks before they may receive an offer.kerryrobin said:

Oh crikey so even after valuation it goes back to underwriter?! So it could be declined then! 😫 xMovingForwards said:kerryrobin said:
