Are you checking Experian (MSE credit club) to look for the search?

They did a mortgage quotation and ID searches, both on the same day.

Nothing stopping you from changing broker and many of us have used ACG who posts on these forums.

@MovingForwards I signed up to Experian direct to get some insight to what is actually going on. I think I will be looking for a new advisor by Tuesday if there is no progress. I'm going to have to reserve my home without DIP tomorrow otherwise I risk losing it which is really irritating. 
Now I know about the MSE credit club im cancelling Experian!

Do Bluestone only use Experian not Equifax?

Thank you. How long was yours with the underwriters before you heard anything? My nerves are shattered ...I can’t sleep.

Mine was pre-Covid, over Christmas and New Year. Went in a few days before Xmas day, got the offer a month later. 

I had a lot of faith in my broker.

My broker has been amazing as my credit is shocking (simply). I’ve just checked my credit file and a search was done on the 23rd. I keep looking for declined reviews just to compare myself but haven’t found anything which is positive. Thanks for your reply.

Hi. Great news re your mortgage 👍. Our buyers are with bluestone and we were expecting them to get an answer today re their mortgage offer but I think we were being overly optimistic. Can you tel me what their process was with you. Ie DIP, then underwriting? Then offer? Our buyers have said it’s gone to underwriters but we thought it already had? There application went in on 9th July? we’ve got another offer on our house and don’t know whether to go with the other offer as we have a house we want and might lose it if there’s too much delay. The process is DIP, application, underwriter, valuation, underwriter, offer.

Oh crikey so even after valuation it goes back to underwriter?! So it could be declined then! 😫 x

You are only allowed to progress to having the valuation done (And pay for the valuation) once the underwriter is happy with everything else. 

Once the valuation is done it’s just the final review by the underwriter of the valuation before the full offer is issued which was within a few hours with ours.

Thanks so much for taking time to reply. Heard back last week from our (hopefully!) buyers that bluestone need a few more days re underwriting so they should find out early this week so all our toes and fingers crossed! X
