How likely is it that bluestone will do another credit check before release of funds (this Friday hopefully) we need to do the whole flooring in our new build and didn't realise how much it would cost so looking at doing it on finance, would this take 30 days to show up on credit score? Will they do one final check before funds released?

With a sub-prime lender do not take any finance out before the keys are in your hand, it's not worth the risk.

Hi guys help wanted.... had a DIP bluestones. Have a mortgage broker who’s taking all prof needed. We have a large deposit of £65k and the mortgage is actually only for £104,800.
It’s in my husbands name who’s self employed. We have been honest about everything. What’s the chances of everything going our way and the mortgage being successful? Sleepless nights are now unbearable
  • How long did anyone wait for offer to come through?

@Firstpastthbuyer_04 I’ve just been told there’s a 9 day wait for applications to go to the h underwriters  then 11 days from there
  • @Kb21 my application has already been approved but we are still waiting on loan papers
  • Received written offer today. No special terms apart from giftors to get independent legal advice. Does anyone know what bluestone require from this? How long does it take from offer to completion?

My parents had to get a letter from their solicitor detailing the legal advice they had been given, they also had to do a declaration of solvency.
  • How much did that cost if you don't mind me asking? We have two giftors?
