Hi Folks, I'm new here. I've had a Lux with 2 Aoboet 2.4kW batteries for just over a month. Like others here, I too was concerned about the DOD dropping below the 10% that had been set. I increased the DOD to 15% to see if that made any difference - it didn't. However I have noticed that if there is sufficient charge in the batteries to supply the base load until approx. 02:00 then the DOD set does seem to be kept to, however if the battery discharges to 15% much before 01:00 then I see the DOD drop to, in one instance to 3% but more usually 6%. Monitoring the batteries directly using the Aoboet app shows the same levels as shown by the Lux app and even at 6% DOD the Aoboet app still shows a fault code of 0x0000 which I take to mean no fault. If there was a problem, I would expect to see a fault code of 0x1007 or 0x20021

I’d really be interested in how you got the aoboet app working as I’ve had no luck——-

Have any of you guys queried this with your installer or supplier yet ?
Don't mean to scaremonger but I'd be fairly concerned if my batteries were regularly discharging as low as 2 or 3%.
At best, it's not going to do their lifespan much good. At worst, you could end up with dead cells.

First thing: Connect to the USR-WIFI232-xx_xxxx network once in, secure the WiFi connection, username admin password admin on an open network is not the most secure! Next enable STA mode (if it's not already) and connect the battery to your network, I've got the Lux and the batteries on a separate SSID and VLAN to the rest of the house network. Once the batteries could be found on the chosen network, I disabled AP mode.
Go into the app and scan the QR code (I had no luck with this and had to enter the serial number via the keyboard). The first battery was found and added to the app. The second battery failed with 'Battery unknown' (or words to that effect). I called Jake who was able to enable the battery which I could then add.0 -
Morning Everyone,
Looking for some expert advise on getting a Lux AC (possibly 2 units to give 7Kw discharge capacity) along with Pylon Tech 2.4Kw batteries, what are people thoughts on the Lux units and batteries?
I have also looked at Powervault but I think the Lux gives me better options to expand. Looking to move to Agile and would like the software to run automatically...... I have no solar.
Thanks in advance0
