doomster118 said:Morning Everyone,
Looking for some expert advise on getting a Lux AC (possibly 2 units to give 7Kw discharge capacity) along with Pylon Tech 2.4Kw batteries, what are people thoughts on the Lux units and batteries?
I have also looked at Powervault but I think the Lux gives me better options to expand. Looking to move to Agile and would like the software to run automatically...... I have no solar.
Thanks in advance
Might make the calculations a bit brighter.
I think without storing "free" energy from the sun, the roi will be quite a bit longer.

Hi Solarchaser,
I have considered Solar PV but I have had thermal for many years and still working well, so limited room on the roof, hence the battery option and I really think Agile will give me some big savings and more flexibility to use power when we need to instead of watching a clock to use the larger consumers.0 -

Today there's an update available for the luxpower android app. The blurb says it will add extra settings to control the inverter. What it appears to do is take away all the extra settings that were available on the app over the Web page settings. I can't see that it adds any new functionality at all. For example there's nowhere to change the time settings now, so if the inverter goes slow by a few minutes you can easily run into the 4pm expensive time slot if you set it up to charge from 3:30pm to 4pm. I'll not be updating my other android device until I am forced to do so.Solar PV System 1: 2.96kWp South+8 degrees. Roof 38 degrees. 'Normal' system

Seems a very bad update I wonder why they have done this surely it’s a real negative in their support——-

Yes a really comprehensive change log .... "Support more settings for device". 🙄
Not so much an update, more of a downgrade.
