Is there a setting where I can only send charge to the battery if its below a certain SOC.. The scenario I am thinking about is "if"I am away for a day I will only need to cover my baseload for the day / days. At present I pump as much in as I can in the "GO" low price period and because Im in I use some of that during the day along with any solar generation. When Im not here I will use "not a lot" so any solar will probably go to the grid. I could set max charge to 70% to give myself 3kW space for solar. Its not important as we are not talking about a lot of money but interested3.995kWP SSW facing. With the original battery I had there was no option to charge from the grid but that has been fixed. One thing I didn’t like was that the discharge rate was fixed and what wasn’t used went to the grid. Do other batteries have this problem? The new battery package seems a totally different proposition but I get the impression that Moixa have more control over when it discharges than the user. I was offered the chance to trial the 4.8kwh version (as a replacement for my 3kwh battery) but at the time wasn’t convinced that it had the flexibility I desired so declined.Having said all that I would be quite happy to deal with Moixa again but will wait until someone posts a review of living with one.Northern Lincolnshire. 7.8 kWp system, (4.2 kw west facing panels , 3.6 kw east facing), Solis inverters, Solar IBoost water heater, Mitsubishi SRK35ZS-S and SRK20ZS-S Wall Mounted Inverter Heat Pumps, ex Nissan Leaf owner)1 -
I believe most if not all inverters can vary the output to cover load, but not export.
Certainly the lux, sofar and growatt can, from my own experience.
Your moxia experience sounds absolutely rubbish tbhWest central Scotland

So that's just over a year we've had the batts and the SOH has only dropped 1%. Quite pleased with that.

You are checking this with the adapter you made Scott yeah?
Does it tell you cycle count also?
You have made me curious to check mine.West central Scotland
