Anyone here have one of those inverter micowaves ?
Our microwave is goosed so we're looking for a replacement and I'm wondering if these inverter types are less erratic with the power as the manufacturers claim.
The electric oven is a pain too as it jumps up an down between 0 and 3kw meaning batteries struggle to keep up so I'm thinking we could use an inverter micro more of the time if it's more even with it's power consumption.Scott in Fife, 2.9kwp pv SSW facing, 2.7kw Fronius inverter installed Jan 2012 - 14.3kwh Seplos Mason battery storage with Lux ac controller - Renault Zoe 40kwh, Corsa-e 50kwh, Zappi EV charger and Octopus Go0 -
Not sure this really fits here but the same helpful people are on this and the Agile thread.Thinking about the shoulder months .. I am on "GO" so ATM I am pouring as much into my batteries as I can in the 5p hours but soon I will start to generate from my panels so will need to moderate how much I need to put in.. maybe zero.Im thinking I need something like octolux... so I could set a charging regime that was more intelligent..e.g. SOC at or below 20% charge to SOC 30% if time is 5p period. This would ensure that I could get through to sunrise without importing at 13pNow the bad news I have no idea how to do any of this.. I did buy a Pi to run Octolux but them decided to settle for GO.. anyone think this is a good idea and able to develop it... or point me towards someone who maybe able to help?I could use the settings in the LUX app i.e just charge for an hour every morning but that would be a really blunt instrument. Not talking any meaningful saving but would be fun to play withTIA3.995kWP SSW facing. Commissioned 7 July 2011. 24 degree pitch (£3.36 /W).

Answering my own question... I guess if I set this to 30% it will only add any charge if below 30% SOC3.995kWP SSW facing. Commissioned 7 July 2011. 24 degree pitch (£3.36 /W).

Hi folks,
quick query. Under the updated MCS guidance, do you need an MCS approved installer + grid approval to expand an existing battery system (e.g. add 1 more pylon to an array)?5.41 kWp System, E-W. Installed Nov 2017

Hi, I have the Lux system too but with Aobet Uhome batteries. Struggling to find a variety of retailers to compare prices. Anyone had experience of these batteries? I was told they were from the Pylontech factory under a different name.5KW solar, Lux 3.8KW inverter, Uhome 2400 LPF x 6, SOLIC 200 immerser diverter, Leaf 62Kwh, MG ZSev, Ohme home charger, Zappi v2.1, Import: Octopus intelligent ; Export: Octopus Energy Export, 15KW biomass pellet boiler - Windhager., Home Assistant (newbie)0

You won't find a variety I'm afraid, like the lux, Michael and Jake are the only ones importing them just now.
I've never heard of them tbhWest central Scotland
