Ok I don't have a hybrid system...
mine does "occasionally" detect export... starts to heat water then no export but it continues to heat using the battery... in the sunnier months not an issue ... a few years ago I turned it off due to the CT clamps from the Lux and Solic getting into a fight... TBH I have left it sat there for over 18 months and not touched it all is "OK". An offset to set it to not start heating until 200 kWh being exported would be good but as my sig says a couple of other units supposedly "smarter" crapped out just after the Gtee expiry.. probably coating me £300 including a RTB warranty fix...
I can live with its limitations been sat there for quite a while now mostly doing exactly the job it was designed for.

If you have another ct clamp try that, it maybe the SOLIC ct that is out and thinks you are exporting all the time, hence the power draw.6kwp solar (23x265w sharp) south facing, Solaredge 6kw inverter installed Dec 2016. 2xLux 3.6kw ACS paralleled with 10x Easyway UNIV5200's 5.2kWh- installed March 2025. 1xLux 3.6kw hybrid with 3.15kwp solar south/south-west with 5x Easyway UNIV5200's installed March 2025. Sorry for the reference of old. Just what I found on their Web site!I understand now where your power is going. My first thought is that there is an error measuring by a CT. They are not very linear and are prone to those errors at low current levels. You may have read that Lux inverters gave an offset tweak to compensate. No idea about the Solic but they do make a point of zero export error. It would seem either the export reading is in error (as above) or there is an offset that has manifested in the Solic such as a measuring offset in an opamp stage......or it is reporting incorrectly? ..or whatever you get the info from!Either way yours does not seem to meet the advertised claim! (Latter reason excluded)If you are getting no joy from them:No way you can easily compensate for that 100watts by adding a resistor. That means you would have to draw that 100watts somewhere else. You might as well put it into your HWCylinder. If your ct is not connected by twisted air wire it might be worth changing that to reduce interference as that could cause an offset especially in faster reading devices.Buying another ct might help in case yours is a bit duff but it is more likely it is the electronics with an offset or not handling the possible interference well. A very small capacitor accross the Solic ct input might help such as 0.1uF but I would not do that without manufacturers approval or suck it and see. Do not use a big value!!0

You should ensure that it is wired through a type A RCD. The easiest way would be via a socket outlet with integrated RCD. Otherwise you will have no RCD protection on those outlets (see BS7671).EVandPV said:I just hooked ours up to a 3 socket extension lead myself.
No more difficult than wiring a plug.
Of course, we'll only be able to plug stuff into the sockets, it won't power the lights or anything else wired to the CU.
But any decent spark should be able to wire it to the CU if that's what your after.2 -
Has anyone worked out what the pretty figures on the Lux web portal actually mean?
Example from a day or two ago:
What's the actual amount of electric consumed? is it 15.6, or 15.6 - 4.7?
Just trying to keep track of the actual savings made over using 100% grid.4Kwp Solar, Lux 3.6kw inverter, 2*Pylontech 3000C batteries.
