No £2 for me (yet) but they did pay two lots of £2 into the account last month so I can't complain.  I did leave the £2 in the account throughout May in case they reclaimed.
yep me too....no idea why and also got double again yesterday!!!

Just a heads up that those of you helpfully divulging methods of circumventing the £500 DC risk you being thrown off the forum by some of those who already know (or think they might know) methods and will mark your posts as Spam.

Not very MSE in my opinion but MSE are aware this 'Mark as Spam' (mis) use is occurring.

    Pretty pathetic really.

    Its mine, all mine.

Im just going the £5k route as at this moment in time I can’t be bothered dealing with the bad attitude of some folk for daring to ask.

    Agreed.

Sticking with £5K (less faff all round), although it is disappointing to have to wait till the middle of July to know whether it is paying out (the tracking system seems broken at the moment) and having to leave a potential non-earning £5K sitting in the account for a couple of weeks longer than previous system which paid out first working day (though I found usually not visible till the next day).

I would be interested to know if anyone has made a £500 deposit to a savings account which is now showing as a registered transaction under 'track my reward'
Tracking information doesn't appear to be available before tomorrow.

Yes I was hoping there had been a change since yesterday! Looking at the Halifax FAQ's it suggests that as long as I sign up and complete my transaction before the 12th of the month then I should get my reward. Hopefully the above screen will have changed in the next few days. Thanks for the update.

Any ideas how I can make this DC payment?

Post Office savings are hit and miss for working correctly.  I wouldn't rely on it for making the DC payment.
