I can't see that anywhere. Even if it was somewhere, the latest Offer details in the e-letter I received says it starts on the date I select it, not 'starts from 01 June 2020'.
You really should consider taking a drive to your nearest castle to check your eyesight. The offer start date was announced quite clearly - see below. What date you opt into the offer is down to you. In any case, as has already been mentioned, if you have met the conditions for your chosen Offer, the payment will be made into your account or you will receive the lifestyle benefit during the following month.

If you did get a letter from Halifax, it reads something like this. Note the highlighting is Halifax's.

If you did not get a letter, then the Halifax website will apply:

I've already told you that I received the e-letter. The first page is the same as the screenshot you posted. However, your screenshot doesn't have the page where it says:
The Offer starts on the day you select it and lasts for a minimum of 12 full months. For example, if you select the Offer on 10th November 2020, it will end on 30th November 2021. If you spend £500 on your debit card from 10th - 30th November 2020, you will receive the Offer for that month.
    You say:
You really should consider taking a drive to your nearest castle to check your eyesight.

The chairman of the Police Federation has urged people not to drive at all to check eyesight'. Nevermind, to the nearest castle.

I met the conditions for May, the following month is June.
If you mean that in May 2020, you met the conditions of the offer that was/is active in May 2020, you can expect to get £2 in June 2020.

If you mean in May 2020, you met the conditions of the new offer that will be active from June 1 2020: this is immaterial. The first possible payment for the new offer will be July 2020, and it will be paid if you have met the conditions in June 2020.
    The e-letter I received says:
For example, if you select the Offer on 10th November 2020, it will end on 30th November 2021. If you spend £500 on your debit card from 10th - 30th November 2020, you will receive the Offer for that month.

I've done the above for May. What is it that is so confusing about the above?

My reading is that the offer does not start until June1st for old Reward accounts that have agreed a selection by telephone before the 15th May. Their example of selecting the offer in November is confusing. Why didn`t they have an example of selecting the offer before 15th May which is the cut off date for a staring date of June 1st? Bizarre! They promised a confirmation by email or text which they haven`t done. The whole thing is confusing! I will not be making my £500 DC payment until June. Good luck with getting a £5 reward at the beginning of June - let us know how you got on!

Luck is immaterial. If Halifax does not honour the terms, and we are unable to resolve with each other, I will approach the ombudsman or Court. I think the latter, as the Financial Ombudsman has gone down the pan and is biased. Also, although I've not made any complaints to the ombudsman lately, my average number of complaints is still high compared to the national average.

I fail to see where the confusion lies. The new offer doesn't start until 1st June. Meeting the requirement for that offer during May is futile because the offer hasn't started yet. I'm expecting to get £2 next month, then £5 in July.
I believe the confusion arises from different interpretations of the word 'offer' - it's being used to describe both the overall new reward pricing scheme and also its activation by an individual within that.

OceanSound either believes or pretends to believe that "The Offer starts on the day you select it and lasts for a minimum of 12 full months" literally means a 12-month period starting at any time, rather than a 12-month period starting after the commencement of the new pricing/reward scheme on 1 June.  The latter interpretation seems obvious to most of us, especially given the context within which that wording appears, but it isn't spelt out absolutely explicitly....

Please keep us posted on your progress. I believe you will win at least a £5 (possibly more for your trouble) on the basis that the terms ARE poorly written.

With 4 Reward accounts it looks like I can get back to £240 per year (from the current £96 per year). Fortunately I have options for debit card payments at both YBS and PO. And I could get rid of 6 silly DDs currently required on 3 of my accounts. Yes there's some admin, maybe a little more but then the rewards are larger.
The terms and conditions only allow for rewards payments on 2 accounts, one of which must be joint.

Ahh, so you're one of these who complains for the sake of complaining.

The T&C's are obvious to everyone on here except you.
On 2nd June you'll get £2 providing you've paid 2 DD's in May as the new offer doesn't start until 1st June.
