Apparently,  the £5 reward is due to be paid on or around the 12th of July.
Thank you for that information, Steve_xx.  :)
I received my statement today and rang Halifax to see why (having met the necessary criteria) there was no sign of my £5 - I usually get my £2 reward on the first of the month.  After some searching the person I spoke to told me that it was to be paid in about the 12th of each month - and if I didn't receive it in July, it would be August. :o

If the OP is still around they might want to append the thread title to something like 'now paid each month on the 12th'.

As it's been covered lots of times on here.

Might save people searching and/or contacting Halifax

Halifax Reward tracker is now working in (my) MS Edge after a unilateral MS update while PC was unattended....
As an aside, it infuriates me when MS p*ss about with your settings when they do their updates ... in this case it put the web addresses back with the icons in the favs bar resulting in most disappearing as there is not enough space... Had to go through each selecting 'icon only' item by item.. grrr!
There's probably more issues I've not spotted yet....

Is this one account per person.. ?? The thought of keeping £5k in each account is unrealistic for me..but maybe £5k in one account and spend £500 in the other??

well people are claiming having multiple reward accounts but no one knows if it will work or Halifax will identify these in near future and stop paying into multiple accounts but as per T&C you can have 1 sole and 1 joint.  Please have a look at the thread and you will find the answers.

    Thanks for the information.
I've not seen anywhere that mentions when the £5k needs to be in the account e.g. has to be £5 every day of the month or by a set day every month?

This should be mentioned in the letter you received - "keep £5,000 in your account each day of the month", so you have to keep £5k every day and the balance shouldn't go below that.

Keep £5,000 or above in your account each day of the month

It doesn’t need to be in the account, it’s your money. You only get interest on any credit balance up to £5000 in the account whilst the money is in the account to earn interest.
You still need to deposit £1500 per month on any day of that month so that it can register as being deposited in that month, ie don’t wait to the last day of the month.
Its all in the terms and conditions!
It isn't interest, it is Other Income paid nett of basic rate to HMRC.
