My £500 spend cleared this morning, but they put yesterdays date on. While the payment to keep the balance at 0.00 has Mondays date on it. I'm crossing my fingers that they don't say claim my balance went below zero.
Not going to find out now until Monday....

Are you using a KRBS easy access savings account? I can make debit card deposits but I can no longer withdraw.colsten said:
KRBS didn't take my multiple COOP debit card deposits kindly. I can no longer make online debit card deposits with them.TOP_CAT said:ED-1 has a point ,
A very good point "which may or may not scupper using savings accounts long term" for multiple DD card deposits and withdrawals .
Hopefully the savings account route will last a while.
Rather than resorting to Pinget or other payment platforms with zero customer help when it goes wrong .

Yes. I can't make deposits or withdrawals (though at present, I don't want to do either, anyway, so it's not an immediate issue for me). I get the following message. My account isn't branch based, so I don't know what they are on about. I'll sort it when I have to go to Branch later in the year when my RS matures.Mosler said:

Here is may experience about packaged bank accounts which may have been our next current account. We were looking for the best deal and saw the package deal from Nationwide with various insurances included, the one I was really interested in was the travel insurance, which was also used by a friend who recommended it. He has many pre-existing medical problems, and so do I. I contacted the Nationwide by going in our local branch and was given a quote to allow for my many conditions including heart failure, etc. There is an extra fee for those with pre-existing conditions. When all this was taken into account the extra fee would have been more than other quotes without the bank account fee, so we went elsewhere for travel insirance. However, we still changed to Nationwide for the savings element! We know of others who have really benefited from this account, but if you have a vast list of medical issues this may cause problems.

That's so nice to know, but what's it got to do with the price of fish ?Nigel338 said:Here is may experience about packaged bank accounts which may have been our next current account. I guess the savings element isn't looking so attractive anymore?Nigel338 said:Here is may experience about packaged bank accounts which may have been our next current account. Does anyone know if a deposit of £500 to a NS&I saver using the Halifax debit card would count towards the £500 monthly spend?

I believe so but we will only know for sure when the reward gets paid later this month.ischris85 said:Does anyone know if a deposit of £500 to a NS&I saver using the Halifax debit card would count towards the £500 monthly spend?2 -
If a current account has the option to upgrade to the Ultimate Reward but not to the Reward account, is there another way of upgrading to the Reward account?
