Morning xx
I've been falling asleep in my chair and heading off for bed at 9pm the last two nights - but just today to get through at the paid stuff then I have eleven days off woot woot (I may have already mentioned this)
oooo I may even be able to follow the listalthough I do have plans of my own - bathroom floor for starters
Feed the birds and put out the recycling will probably be today's flutter.
Humungous squishy hugs to you all

Good morning
Sorry I have been awol this week. Dailies have been done, plus washing is up to date.
This morning I have walked the dog, put on the DW, S&S the kitchen, WULTD, and cleaned the downstairs sink & toilet.
I decided on Wednesday that I will no longer accept children that have a temp, so I am glad I have now been backed up by the government! I am now frog marching them to wash their hands as soon as they arrive, then taking their temp - just to be on the safe side! SM I understand your worry re money, as I am SE. The ESA, I believe, is the way to go (contributions based, I think), but it looks so complicated. I have PLI which includes loss of earnings cover, but I don't think they cover if I self isolate - I would have to have a positive test, but they aren't testing anyone!! I have been saying for a while that the figures are higher than those published, but now the figures will be a nonsense!!
I am loving that there is a fly-angel amongst usThat is exactly what this world needs - random acts of kindness
((hugs)) and gws wishes to those that need them, esp ASB & YL
Have a good day everyone!

I am going to blow up our council offices... I just want to know how much is outstanding on my council tax so I can pay it.. but I cannot find an option to speak to a person.. the info is not available online which is idiotic... how do you know how much to pay without that information? I haveen trying to get through to a person for 2 hours.. all options just cut me off.. I am going to scream. Apparently I can email but they will take 10 days to reply... and they just cut me off again... AAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH

Piggers that is not good, my local council, you set up an account via their portal, click on the council tax bit, and it shows you when / how much you paid/ and what is outstanding.Exchange has just happened

They got a raging email instead.. and were told I am paying nothing.. the problem is if they send a reminder you only get 1 in a 12 month period so if you miss a payment in March and get a reminder then miss another in November you immediately get a court summons.. so obviously I don't want a reminder because I have no idea what might happen throughout the year.. I didn't foresee the tax credits being stopped or OH being off work for a month.. it is a nightmare.

Hi all
Money situation tight here too, I worked out at the end of January that DS being in hospital had cost us £1500 in lost earnings for DH, extra diesel, hospital food and parking. We did get a small grant from Clic Sargent but that figure will have gone up since then. Not thinking about it too deeply. Had a good day at the paid stuff today, house reasonably tidy. Have taken some left over chicken casserole out of the freezer and put some ready made pastry on top of it to make a pie for tea, not sure there is really enough for three but I will do lots of chips and veg! Oh and found out today that my thyroid levels are wrong again, which explains some of the tiredness. Not far off two years since I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid and my levels have never stayed stable, I do wonder if stress affects it. Right better feed everyone ...9 -
