It's very quiet on here. Must be the birthday celebrations and read a book day.
I have walked the dogs again, cleaned all doors and walls and made chocolate muffins.

Afternoon All
I have been MIA this week, work has been chaotic, DH has also had a busy week, we’ve barely seen each other! Haven’t caught up totally with thread so sending waves, hugs, stick and spoons out for any who need them.
Today I have been to get my haircut, done the food shopping, run some other errands, when I came back I cleaned bathroom, en suite and downstairs loo plus changed the bedding. DH is busy hoovering and dusting, when that’s done it will just be the kitchen for a tidy up after supper. Until then I’m under orders to sit down and rest, so that’s what I’m going to do!!
Hope you are all ok xx8 -

Hope you had a nice day asb. Tired today but took DSs car back to the garage, made a cake and some biscuits, helped DH stack wood in the log shed, and made lasagne for tea. Have opened a bottle of wine that I think was a Christmas present and I am now settled down with the fire lit. DS has been feeling a bit off it today but we might go for a little walk tomorrow if he feels strong enough. We are avoiding all unnecessary contact with other people but the good thing about living in the middle of nowhere is that we shouldnt have any problem finding somewhere to go for a a walk, and being outside should be fairly safe anyway.9

Hello, sorry I have been missing.Busy week here, managed to get an gp appointment for DS2. Doctor wrote urgent letter to Camhs as he is struggling big time. We had several school refusals but managed to drive him in late most days. He has had major meltdowns and we don’t know what else to do.
DH is having his working hours cut starting next month and reduced holidays.

Tomorrow's plan:
Do ParkRun.
Make cake.
Do flower arrangements for lounge and guest bedroom.
Do more report writing. Sadly ran out of time. Noted on uni email last night that next week is reading week and they are encouraging everyone to work from home; then all lectures on-line until after Easter. Don't yet know if I will need to suspend assessments, or just do the ones booked for March.
Final tidy/clear/veg prep, friends arriving after lunch.
Friends arrived, had a nice walk, they enjoyed the dinner I cooked. Have washed and cleared up and prepared veg for tomorrow.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.10 -
Morning all,
Thank you for your well wishes for DS. It was lovely, spent a bit too much but we enjoyed lovely ice creams, lunch and entry to the place which was fab. He has been up since 6am playing with his toys 🥰
I have a wash on, which will go on the line. The DW is to unload, the dog needs a walk and my food shop is arriving today. Roll on spring time, I would love to see some more sunshine soon. Take care all xx9 -
Morning all. Glad you had a nice day ASB.
A little indoor flying for me today and a couple of dog walks. Am currently making bread. DH has gone to work even though it's his day off as they can hardly cope with the shoppers. It's busier than Christmas and some people are quite aggressive. However they have been told they can just shut the doors if it gets out of hand.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
Morning (waves)
I still feel bleugh. NO fever. No cough. Just a moderately sore throat and bleugh. I did manage the dailies yesterday; didn't have a read a book day but watched a huge amount of 70s music on tv and then re-watched 'Jurassic Park' last night. I suspect I've been incubating whatever this is all week - hence the need for early nights on Tuesday and Wednesday - during which time I visited Dad twice (85 years old with COPD). I'm now vacillating between 'it'll be fine'' and 'oh heck'. And breathe.... Keep calm and carry on, yeah?
