Evening all, and it's lovely to have you back with us YL. Please try to get some rest before you start flying x
Sorry to hear about your family's tummy bug, SMouse - never a pleasant experience! It sounds like it's been an unexpectedly good day for some Flyladies, though
My day started quite well, but went rapidly downhill after breakfast as a migraine threatened. I spent half the morning dozing, instead of visiting the care home; managed to summon up enough energy to take Rosie for a walk; but cancelled both my exercise class (which is hard work at the best of times!) and my study group (which would have involved 2x 45 minutes' driving in the dark). However, an empty fridge meant that I had to pop to the shops for a few bits for tea.. The only other flying I did was to pair DH's dry socks, WMx2, and wipe out the empty fridge before I put the shopping away. I must remember to hang up the damp clothes before I go to bed. I have a light day planned for tomorrow, but Thursday will be full on again.8 -
Hope you are feeling better soon ionafan and that tomorrow is an easier day for you. xx

Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.7 -
Morning all,
GWS vibes Iona, you always seem so busy, please take it easy xx
YL - my heart broke reading your post. Everything crossed for DS. Be kind to YOU as well xx
I am ready for the day. I do cover lessons on Wednesdays and my timetable for today is, well, challenging. The little bottle of wine from my FL friend is awaiting me as my treat tonight 😍
Washing over airer, bed made, need to nip to PO after work as well. Have super days all xx8 -
Morning all,
YL, I’m on the other end of a PM if you need a sympathetic ear to listen. It’s a really tough time for all of you, especially when you are the one being strong all the time for everyone. Xx
Another rubbish night’s sleep, so I’m not at my best this morning. But a shopping list has been written, QHI done, and I’m waiting for the wm to finish before I drop DD at school and go on to the f&v market.
Have a lovely day all.7 -
Frog munched.
Have good days all especially those of you climbing mountains right now. Sending you strength.

Temporary traffic lights caused traffic chaos. No parking as I was then later getting to the market, so I abandoned that idea. I have just finished what turned into 3 phone call. I was a quivering wreck after the second and ready to cry, but the girl at the end of the phone on the 3rd call was so lovely, that I sorted it all out then and there. I swear that I didn’t used to be like this.
Restorative coffee, then it is off to do the grocery shop and DH’s long list for w!lk0. Followed by the dreaded hair cut.6 -
YL.. sounds like we may have the same Fly-Angel looking after us.. I too feel very blessed to have such caring souls in my life xx
Squeaks assembly done.. OH almost got the girls run over dithering about whether to cross a road or not..
I rang drs yesterday about the 'recent test results' .. turned out they are the ones from December.. yeah, I've been trying to get an appointment since then! They mentioned a 'missed hospital appointment' ... well that was a saga.. culminating in no one actually knows which appointment was missed... I received 3 on the same day.. 3 different hospitals, 3 different times on 2 different days.. all letters were dated the same date and when I called each of the clinics they ALL said I was not on their appointment lists.. so I have no idea and the surgery have no idea either.. doesn't count then as far as I am concerned! Anyway.. they hvae no appointments for this month but should be getting Aprils appointments released in the next 2 weeks.. I laughed and said this is why I haven't been. I need to take DD3 (girl things) , Boog (Diabetes and MH), Pixie (Allergies) and Dot (The referral) too.
So.. phone calls I shall catch up on after my cuppa..
Optician
Dryer
... I'm sure there was someone one else...
OH can hang out washing as well, make use of him.

YL, thinking of you and your family xxKitchen cupboards semi packed, so later on I will fully clean them.Hoovered the bits of floor I can see, that are not covered in boxes.Later yesterday took the hooks / holders etc on the garage walls down, once I have removed and pack the items they were holding, I made a sort of blue Peter stylee cardboard holder for the saws as they are too long for the packing box.Got a small dog crate (2nd hand) to move the cat, it is assembled and taking up most of the hallway so he can get use to it, he has been in it so that is a start.Loads of boring small stuff to do.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles
