Thank you Jazee xx
Round 1 completed + jeans swishing in WM and dishcloth soaking in bleach solution. DS's dad usually comes for a coffee on Sunday mornings and I go to Dad's for Sunday lunch - I've phoned them both and both say let's carry on as normal. My Dad will not be happy if he's read the news saying that over 70s may be asked to self-isolate for 4 months. He detests being home alone - and it is certainly not good for his mental well-being. He'll do as he likes - he always has.
Coffee time. Anyone fancy a brew?

I’m late to join you, but just making that cuppa, Round.
I’m glad your ds had a good day yesterday ASB.
I’m trying to buck my ideas up, but I can’t shake the feeling of not being in control of absolutely anything. Anyway, yesterday I spent most of the morning going to and from the garage in big town with DH, and actually being at the garage. We now have a new to us car which will eventually go to DD. Living where we do, a car will be a necessity for her as soon as she learns to drive. The afternoon was spent waiting for DD at the stables, which actually means that I get to read my book in the car, so not all bad.
Today, I have done wm x 2, HHI, taken DD to work, now back to finish the half-cleaned bathroom. Hence the cuppa, as I don’t really want to do it! It has been raining solidly now for a couple of hours, and water is pouring off the hills, so that was a fun drive there and back. Bring on some sunshine and a nice day that actually coincides with me being at home so that I can get outside.

SO delighted by the prospect of school closures for 4 weeks.. totally unecessary for most children but if it means no school runs I'm a happy chicken. I have stuff planned already.. Dot is working on the spellings she has eaten.. literally, eaten!. Squeak needs handwriting practice to get her joined up ssss right, they look like f's at the moment. Pixie needs reading practice, she only just clicked with reading so I want to encourage that so we can build on comprehension and get her flying. Twinkle can learn the last few letters and we will make a start on learning to read! I have a hallway of wallpaper I need stripping and some gardening they can all do, Outdoor activities will be necessary.. Dot goes WILD if she is in the house for 2 days.
Round.. we have a contagious strain of tonsillitis doing the rounds here.. there are 4 of the 10 children at nursery with it.. and me.. I don't spend more than 5 minutes a day in there and I get it! My hayfever (tree pollen) has also started up and causing sore throat, snotting and coughing. Twinkle is the same but much less refined with her coughing. Feel better soon xx
Kitchen is being stocked with sugar, coffee, squash, jam, eggs and potatoes. Plus, cold and flu drugs (I buy 2 boxes every time I do a shop anyway, this is not new) bacon, ham, bread, cheese, veg and milk to fill the freezer, we have very little food in there so filling those gaps with necessities. Keep your loo rolls these are the things I am not risking my sanity over. I honestly don't get why people are going loopy over loo roll and forgetting the actual necessities.. crazy people. There are so many alternatives to loo roll.. wipes, wash cloths, kittens, socks,... pretty much anything in an emergency, you can't substitute milk in your cup of.. oh no wait, I ran out of coffee!!! haha!! Be sensible peeps!
Changed my bedding last night... need to get that washed now.
I need to do some ebeasting again.. I found 3 more things I can list now from my cupboard. I'm finding I have empty drawers appearing!
Having a cuppa and then doing a little bit of flinging/laundry shuffling in the back room. Heading to The Range and Pets at Home with my mother later.. I have no cat litter and bought a new tray yesterday for the kitchen (Hazel keeps pooping in the corners! ) so I need pink litter.. the wood stuff is horrendous and is everywhere, it is not saving us any money at all.. so the pink stuff it is to turn the white toes pink!
Watch on charge!
Crazy furry crew are asleep now they've been fed.. and Treacle had a huge sneezing fit.. the others were all crowding her looking at her like she was mad.
My house is a bear pit. It is so depressing.

Bright breezy and cold here (sorry, not trying to rub it in if its raining with you) so have washed the throws we use in the LR and they are blowing on the line. DS not feeling well which means we cant really go far so I am making bread, soup, and teacakes at DHs request. Have done my finance spreadsheets which are fairly dismal, we dont have a lot of money for extra food but I feel that we should stock up a bit more.
My brother was coming to visit at the end of the month but has cancelled, which makes sense, its a bit disappointing but we can do it another time.10 -

Ear drops for my nutty mog bought.. I'm hoping it is just an ear issue and not a neurological disorder.. she is a lot weird but this head shaking is new.
Children fed and about to be shoved in bed.. they have been whining for 2 hours and I want to splat them.
