No not in the slightest, but that photo doesn’nt prove it was pressed, the next screen is a confirmation message. I would expect the OP to prove evidence the machine was working around the time but that photo is not proof it was entered..
So your telling me thank you message is going to prove more than my registration being on there can ever do that's ludicrous that's like getting the image from Google saying thank you 😂 thats more suspicious than my registration

So what am going to select the exact dates of my stay and then type my registration in and not press enter what do I look like

Another thing even if the date was to say changed or edited that means through out the whole life time of the system being active my registration should have been entered at some point but ukpc is saying I have never ever entered it into the system

So even if I went back there to enter it into the system to create a false photo and not enter it that means I would of been given another fine as I entered the parking and didn't validate my stay

Mate there's too many holes in their reasoning and crappy systems

But nevertheless I will still fight it to prove a point and that's ukpc cannot take innocent hard working people's money

They should all be locked up

    The Travelodge Cheshunt website states:-

    Parking

Limited free parking is available at this hotel on a first come first served basis. Please ensure you register your vehicle with our Reception team or you may be liable for a fine.

So the only requirement is to register the vehicle with Travelodge reception, no mention of UKPC.

That’s what your own evidence shows, that pic was take before the confirmation button was pressed. Once the button is pressed you get a different message, show us that? And show us the meta data from that pic...because that isn’t the standard date and time format..

Who is this 'us' of which you speak?  The only person who thinks the OP should have taken a film crew with them to Travelodge to document their every single parking-related move is you.  Utterly bizarre.

OP, the fact that that photograph was taken is above and beyond what might be expected of a guest to put it mildly!  You did good to get that evidence.

How's the complaint to the landowner going?

All that matters is what would a judge think if they saw those images, unredacted, as part of the OP's defence signed with a statement of truth.

On the balance of probabilities, would she/he think they were genuine and thus proved beyond 50% that they were a true and accurate representation of what happened on the dates of the alleged events?

I would be confident to show that evidence to a judge if it were me.

I would also show it to the DVLA in a complaint that the scammers obtained personal data without reason.

    AOS response

From all that feedback I am getting it seems like none of these organisations can do anything to ukpc this is ridiculous how can there not be any organisation can be above them and moderate

    The response goes

Thank you for your email. I’m sorry it became necessary to write to us.

I can confirm UK Parking Control Ltd is a member of the Approved Operator Scheme (AOS), which means they’re required to adhere to our Code of practice. It might be helpful if I start by explaining that our role is to investigate alleged breaches of our Code by members of our AOS where evidence can be supplied. It is worth noting however that we can’t cancel Parking Charge Notices, nor can we become involved in the appeals process.

From the evidence supplied I gather that you incurred Parking Charges from UKPC because they allege you did not enter your vehicle registration when parking. As explained above, we do not become involved in general disputes and so we therefore do not have the means to determine whether a charge has been issued correctly. Any challenge or appeal is a matter for POPLA and/or the courts. Furthermore, POPLA is independent, and in order for them to remain independent, we cannot overturn their decision.

We would consider it a reasonable action to take if the operator offers a modest administration charge instead of the full amount of the charge in these instances.

Based on the information provided, I am unable to determine a breach of our Code of Practice and so we are unfortunately unable to further assist.

I hope this information is of some use.

    Kind regards,

    Google street view says:

So it looks to me that if you gave your registration to reception you have fulfilled your side of this 'contract'

edit: Although that sign says APCOA not UKPC so Street View might be out of date.

Wow...it shows the desperation of this lowlife industry, that they keep sending people here to post.

Do you mean UKPC by ''us''?  Nasty firm; I once spoke to a person who thought he was a 'warden' for UKPC and he had no clue who he was working for, or what they were really like.  Poor guy.
