Corona-virus - How worried are you?

Very good question. It seems likely that transmission at a community level was happening for several weeks undetected before any government intervention to reduce social contact. There may have been “super spreaders” at an early stage who infected many tens of people very quickly. Italy also has the second oldest population in the world, so more older infections, and greater mortality rate.50Twuncle said:But why is Italy getting hit so badly ?
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/extra/dj3jonuhi1/coronavirus-year-of-the-maskI expect when this over the Italian epidemic will be studied in detail so we can all learn from it.
My concern is that if we don’t, collectively, take this seriously and listen to public health guidance, we will be in a similar place in a couple of weeks time.3 -
Advice please. I am a seasonal worker in the hospitality industry. I was given a job offer to start next month. This will not go ahead for the time being. Where do I stand?0

Hi there, I am new to this forum . I am looking for any information with regard to student rights or help available to them during the Coronavirus with regards to their student loans . Our daughter is now at home for the rest of the academic year ..does her tuition fee still get paid by student loan company ? Is there any leeway or help for them with regard to the loan interest rate and where do they stand with regard to next terms rent and the maintenance part of their loan .it all seems very unsettling for them .
