Mysupermarket closing - alternatives?

Trolley.co.uk has come a long way and is definitely poised to be the defacto successor of MySupermarket. But I can't understand why there is no ability to sort by price or price-per-unit. I would have thought the primary reason people use such websites is to compare prices. Once it has this, I will probably sunset my website that I am not allowed to mention by name. Lack of app is not a deal-breaker, as there is no core functionality that would be enhanced. The reason there are so many apps that basically just point to the website is discoverability in the app store: good for acquiring users, neutral for user experience. And as a developer myself, I resent having to pay Apple and Google a monthly fee to distribute something for free! Also, I noticed at least two instances of Aldi prices being incorrect. I checked with a VPN whether it is regional pricing and it is not:The correct prices are 20% more, which makes me think perhaps the data source is ex VAT.

Just saw this site advertised.
www.trolley.co.uk
Sorry if already posted but I couldn't see anything about it.
Just had a look around and it looks a promising substitute for mysupermarket. The items I searched for all came up with the cheapest prices I could find so hopefully it will help save some pennies.0 -
I saw this too Supermarket comparison website will tell you cheapest place to buy your weekly shop (msn.com)
Lidl doesn't appear on the Home page.
Will be useless for me, as it lists just five organic products from Waitrose but a huge number of pro-Brexit Daylesford Organic products from Ocado. After the way Ocado let me down in Lockdown 1, never going back. It also features Co-op which I'm soon to be an ex-member of because it took ads on GB News.0 -
Came across the "trolley" site recently (link in topic title), it lets you "favourite" items you like to buy in supermarkets and then gives you price comparison between those stores. There used to be a similar type of site years ago but when Adsa stopped us from wombling (boo!) that site closed as the price comparison site (mysupermarket I think it was called) was probably funded at least in part from them.Anyway, worth checking out if you like to visit various supermarkets to save cash, this site seems to be getting good now.

I just read this on Mirror. Is there some sort of hype happening around this site? Did I miss the memo?0

I've found it useful if not a little time consuming if I'm looking for a specific branded product. And priceless in as much as it has affirmed that Waitrose makes a tidy additional margin on these products. I won't be wasting my money there. No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.1 -

For example, today I tried to find the price of ginger (simple root ginger). I had to go to the third page of listings before I found any.The Aldi website is just as bad (although https://groceries.aldi.co.uk/en-GB/ is slightly better that the original site). Searching for 'ginger' or 'lemons', they appear way down the list, unlike the main supermarkets' sites that manage to put the at, or close to the top.At least with sh*********r everything is listed on the one page, and I can easily look through the list to find relevant items.2

Just got an email from Trolley. They finally launched an app! Haven't tried it thoroughly yet but will report back if it's any good.0
