I see what you're saying so I just had another look. On my PP summary there is a line showing the full refund to the customer and the following line shows a credit to me of the full PP fee. It is marked "Fee Reversal From Paypal"soolin said:
It does show oddly and all paypal payments are now refunded net. On my last one it showed the payment, let's say £10 less 85p fees so I got £9.15, when I refunded it showed the buyer getting £10 and the £9.15 being refunded. However there was a separate transaction showing the 85 p charge as that a charge to me and nothing to do with buyer.Brywalker said:

They keep the 36p transaction fee but all the selling fees are refunded. Paypal keep the whole lot nowadays.Rantband said:AFAIK Ebay like PayPal keep 30p per transaction, even after a refund

Very odd question, are you sure it is a credit to you and not a payment from? if they original payment shows the full amount being returned , ie PayPal made up the balance then there is no need to credit you again with the fees.Brywalker said:

Hi Soolin. You are of course quite correct. My brain was not functioning correctly.

I was about to suggest that otherwise keep it quiet as we would all be jealous 😀Brywalker said:Hi Soolin. You are of course quite correct. My brain was not functioning correctly.
it is the only monetary advantage to switching to Adyen , although the increase in FVFS will mean even the retained fee problem makes it cheaper on PayPal in the long run. cest la vieI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Got a message to say I’m in from 24/8, but it says
” Review your eBay integration and reconciliation processes:- If you use a third-party platform, please reach out to your third-party integrator to check if your integration will need changes.”
Could this affect my Royal Mail Click & Drop account ?

I just got the same message and I am starting the same date. I too wondered the same thing as I use Royal Mail click and drop. Really not sure what to do as I am on Micropayments so lots of my very low value items are going to cost me 20p to 30p morecharlies_mum said:Got a message to say I’m in from 24/8, but it says

A lot of us are on micropayments and when I spoke to eBay CS a Uk person told me that they are aware of this and are looking into it, but I’m not holding my breath
Their advice was to put my prices up as everyone else will be doing the same. You're only young once, but you can be immature forever

Yes they have been aware of this for a long time, going back months when I first got a call from a sales rep pushing me to sign up. He went very silent when I mentioned I am on micropayments and said he will feed this in.charlies_mum said:A lot of us are on micropayments and when I spoke to eBay CS a Uk person told me that they are aware of this and are looking into it, but I’m not holding my breath

I am quite happy to put my price up but then I have to contend with all the sellers who sell the same or similar items as me privately when they should be registered as business sellers as obviously they have not had MP inflicted on them and eBay seem to do absolutely nothing about private sellers who should be businesses.
Oh and my other big gripe, is the amount of buyers that buy more than one product from you but checkout each item individually. I had two lots yesterday, one buyer purchased 5 items all after the other with 5 different checkouts, Half an hour later another buyer did exactly the same with 4 separate checkouts all within a minute of each other. That is despite the fact I have offers on all my listings buy one get one x% off etc. So, had I been on MP yesterday for those two orders eBay would have creamed in 9 x 36p therefore £3.24.The best things in life are free.....0 -
Apparently ‘looking into it’ is code for not going to do anything. Adyen has been around for ages and have so far not made any concessions to small payments, so I can’t see them making an exception for us. It isn’t like we can refuse to use them, well we can, but not if we want to sell on eBay.charlies_mum said:A lot of us are on micropayments and when I spoke to eBay CS a Uk person told me that they are aware of this and are looking into it, but I’m not holding my breath
