Good morning
Thanks Natty for the lists - I will try my best this week!
I was up and dressed before 9am this morning (shock!!) on my day off. DH woke me up as he went for a run at 7am, and got back a little while ago. He is now in the bath, and woe betide him if he doesn't wash it out after him!!!
I have had breakfast, checked the bank accounts and watched the last part of the drama I have been watching, before the next series starts next week. Time for a list...
Round 1 (thanks Round)
wash up
stack DW
wipe down surfaces
That will do for starters.
Have a good day everyone

So thank you too :-
Round 2 completed - got the worst of the grot off the basin and then filled it with a water and white vinegar solution. Toilet roll soaked in white vinegar is wrapped around the taps. (I forgot to take the kitchen roll up) They can soak for an hour then I'll see how they're doing.
Going to have a coffee and QH working on that box of stuff in the living room.
Back later

Thanks Valli and Natty for the lists. Much appreciated. I'm not a fan of the new website and I don't think very many people are finding it easy. There are lots of aspects that just aren't as User Friendly, which is a great shame. In short - I feel your pain.Welcome back SGT. - and that probably won't work either.Round, I rinse out, wring out and hang the dishcloth over the tap, and don't use rubber gloves for washing up but if I did, I'd hang them over the side of the sink. I do have a dishwasher but there are things that can't go in it.Dog walked, breakfast scoffed, showered etc etc. Shower room cleaned.More laundry going through the WM and TD after 10 days of none being done except cleaning cloths.Orders for Ebay placed and iron query lodged with manufacturer.Salvaged small Le Creuset casserole soaked in biological washing liquid and boiling water. The stains look a bit better but they're not entirely gone. Does anyone know how to get stains out of the enamel? I haven't tried bleach yet but I will if I have to, I just wondered if there was anything else that would work.Better is good enough.11

Box is now empty and has been recycled. I'm going to put all the photo albums and packets of photos in a drawer under my bed - to be sorted at a later date. Just flicked through one pack and there's Mum standing tall at my brother's second wedding - ouch.
I'll take them up now and see how the bathroom basin / taps are doing.

Round 1 done! Plus wiping down the fronts of the cupboards and cleaning the electric propagator. Hopefully I will get some seeds started later!
DD1 has just called, she has signed contracts with the wedding venue so it's all official! They want a deposit, which I have said I will pay, but they said in the next few days. I'm happy about this, as my cc cycles on the 26th, so if I pay then it will be in the following month's statement and not need paying until April
Ok - back to it...
Round 2
shredding
sort out & clean a box of toys
lunch!
Round I'm feeling the love! It's good to have a Monday buddy, as I only do a 4 day week too!

It's stopped raining but the dogs still didn't want a walk. So I have refilled the soap dispensers, changed bedding and done a quick hoover through. Second load of washing has just finished swishing too.
That is it for me today and I've decided to meet up with friends after lunch.Spend less now, work less later.10 -

I've tetrised the albums etc into a drawer - handbags in there from the 1980s!!! That's for another day. Bedrooms are not a priority - plan is to keep on keeping on with kitchen, living room and bathroom. H/S/L need hoovering but no clutter there. Then, one day, someone can come round for a coffee (only the two rooms downstairs) and be allowed to use the toilet facilities without me cringing with mortified embarrassment. (Photos of DS as a baby / toddler show that I haven't always lived in a hovel so it's not innate)
My next job is to go through a pencil case that was in the box and see if any of the contents still work - then lunch.
