Gorgeous sunshine today, have been out for a run first thing, the first one in ages and my legs really felt stiff, I need to get on with the yoga I keep talking about. Am just about to take the dog for a run in the woods which involves a few miles of walking. Have done some cleaning and some little jobs I've been putting off, need to do a grocery shop today, pay for a school trip and tidy up outside a bit. Bought two mini oil filled radiators the other day, they are fab, in DS's room he has two outside walls, one is north facing the other is east facing and they get no sun at all, we have an old stone house with metal wall ties and the corner of the two walls gets condensation overnight especially where the tie is, this then results in a damp patch. As we've just decorated we didn't want it spoiling so one of the heaters is going in that corner and is being switched on in the evening when the central heating is turned off and will run on low until morning just in the cold months, it has a thermostat so it keeps going on and off, the results have been excellent so far, his wall is bone dry in the morning. Much cheaper than heating the whole house and the radiator is so cute and little.

On the topic of the wall, if anyone has a similar problem we bought some products from a company called Zinsser, we got the mould killer treatment and a shellac primer which stops stains coming through, they have good reviews so I am hopeful it will all stay as lovely as it looks now.

Good evening!
Had a good day yesterday, although was a spend day on basics like milk and bread, fresh fruit etc.
Today = NSD number 3
Yesterday and Today I am grateful for:
1) Time and space to recharge. I have wrote a self help guide now on display. Just read it and it's helped me after a day at work when I feel depleted. Recharging as we speak!
2) Loving the Mental Wellness thoughts for the day - thank you Mothernerd, much appreciated
3) Lovely clients at work who made me laugh and smile
I'm having a quiet evening and an earlyish night tonight. For those of you who have children - I genuinely hold you in awe! What an amazing job you all do - I don't know where you find the energy!!! It must be so rewarding to watch them grow and turn into their own person though! I sometimes miss the hussle and bussle of family life, like when I was young... happy days! Have a lovely evening everyone x

Posted earlier but it seems to have gone astray. Not at all well but things to do. Showered, went to the community shop and spent £9.35. Had cup a soup and a scone (keep cup a soup in the cupboard so I can have a hot drink when I'm this ill). Walked to order a taxi for tomorrow's appointment and as far as the traffic lights. Had planned to walk to get my prescription but the short walk had me breathless and holding onto windowsills so will get the bus.Checked all my figures and then phoned the WTC people. Asked why I was not entitled to tax credits and cited the figures given by the Tax credit calculator - I have been overpaid but only by about £600 last year and my claim should continue (might not get anything for a few months depending on how they take back the overpayment). The girl was lovely - it took her a while to see where the other advisor had gone wrong and work out how to fix it. I have to phone back in a couple of weeks if I don't get notified about my new award. A lot of fuss for approximately £37 per week but it's the difference between surviving and having a few choices (and enough to save for repairs and renovations).Just before 4 pm I went out to catch the infirmary bus. Bought an all day ticket (just the one operator). Collected my prescription (mum's should have gone to her pharmacy for delivery) and went downstairs to the pharmacy. Waited for the prescription to be filled then walked across to the bus stop. Bus came after 5 minutes (same driver). Went all the way to the penultimate stop and went in Morries in search of ys goodies. Spent just over £20 but got cheese, salad, berries and grapes etc ys'd - meat and fish only slightly reduced so left them there, yoghurt at a bargain price (must give my system all the help I can) and a selection of salads from the counter (stuffing myself with grains, veg and beans until I'm well enough to stand up and then will make my own). Receipt said 5.22pm so trotted down to the bus stop - last bus was 5.28 pm (same driver again). Only had to get myself back across the car park. If only I can finish off this piece of embroidery it will have been a good day all round.Today I am grateful for ready salad (not very MSE but helps enormously when I'm ill and it's much cheaper than buying individual pots of salad), for helpful benefit staff and getting things done in difficult circumstances. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage10

So pleased you talked with someone who knew the system well enough to find another person's mistake, mothernerd.Today I am grateful for catching up with a colleague and making changes to a proposal so that we both are happy with it, for a good mentoring session, for baked potato and tuna mayo, for my hoodie, for good journeys to and from work, for tvs now having a remote control (anyone else remember having to get up to change channel?)NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!8

Evening to you all. Here’s today’s update from me....
Just been for our walk. Cloudy tonight could smell log burners as we walked around.
R&R - I’m going to make it a thing to have a sit down & cup of tea when I get in from work each day but without going on my phone.
Clutter - will sort another section in DS room later (he’s playing in there at the mo). My DH has offered to give his work colleagues an old tablet we no longer use for his child. Not sure if it counts as charitable but saves it being stuck in a drawer so a decluttered item!

NSD - Still 3/15. Not one today as needed spread in work for our morning toast. Everyone else in the office on the phone so I had to nip across the road to the shop! We are supposed to take in turns but sure I bought it last time! As I’d spent booked the camping site today and ordered a candle off eBay for my Dads bday cake. Might order his card tonight too.
Grateful - A dry day, booking something to look forward to, this challenge.
Charity - Nothing here today. Need to think of a few ideas for this.

And thumping it when it didn't work - our first telly (when I was about five) didn't have an aerial - it worked off a nail hammered into the back. Also had those aerials where you have to moove about to get a signal (sometimes having to move to a different position if you change the channel). Both channels that is and then whoopee 3 of them and they went off at 11pm (10pm for BBC2). Getting buttons to change the channel was areal improvement, before that we had to turn a dial (the same with the radio).

Today I'm grateful for my physical health improving - I hope that my mental health follows suit.
Grateful that NT2's lump has also turned out to be benign so we just need her to heal up now.
Grateful for finally getting some exam money in so I could throw £225 at the debt.
Sorry I'm not checking in more - I'm just resting and recovering at the moment but trying to keep the faith.
Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control
