March Forward - just taking each day/update as it comes.
Check out -Being sensible with what we are eating checking dates and using up so nothing is wasted.
Exercise- As someone who loves being at home and grumbles when I have to go out, I suddenly feel the need to be outside and sociable. Picked DS up from school then went to a nearby (empty) footy field. Kicked a ball around for a bit than fast walked around it twice achieved 1.43 miles. Really enjoyed it and felt better afterwards.
R&R - think I was better doing something than nothing. I’ve decided to dig out my kindle and get some books downloaded. We are also going to take the campervan out to a beach on Sunday and take a picnic for Mother’s Day so looking forward to that.
Reduce - nothing here today. Stressed about work tomorrow but we are all pulling together and keeping each other sane.
Completely forgot to declutter tonight!
Ignore - Not watching the news except for Boris daily update.Music - appreciate radio DJs trying to cheer us up!
Check in ✅

Good evening!!
I hope everybody is doing okWork has been ok, though we have had to make some changes to the way we work and do more phone support than face to face work. We are all keeping each other in good spirits though.
Today I am grateful for:
1) Supportive colleagues at work
2) Less traffic on the roads and people around (introvert heaven!!!)
3) The internet!
Not an NSD as did a small top-up shop. Have enough into to batch cook maybe 12 easy meals from the freezer, and enough porridge oats to sink a battleship... Well 3 boxes! I bought 2 forgetting I had one in lol. That'll do me!!! Of to bed now, and looking forward to weekend and some R&R. Night all x⭐ DEBT FREE : 18/02/2025 ⭐

Sunday was spendy- sporting activity for DD. Monday an emergency new kettle had to be bought, if we end up in isolation I can do without a lot but cups of tea are essential and boiling water in the microwave was winding me up after half a day! Tuesday NSD 10/15.
As all sporting/extracurricular activities are cancelled one of the few "plus" points is less money should be spent- likely to be very much cancelled out by reduced income if we do end up having to isolate.
Grateful for all the "normal" things, DD being amazing, people in our village all offering help to those who need it, school staying open, work trickling on, video calls.8 -

mothernerd -use those visitors that are already planned in - one for pastry one for condensed milk, it will make them feel useful.BBK campervans and beaches sounds lovely, I am hitching a lift with you (in my miind) on Sunday.Abundant, worst case scenario and you end up really (like really really) bored, you can make oat milk! or granola, or flapjacks, or energy balls (they freeze really well and then you can portion control too), my kids love them in yoghurt. I am more of an overnight oats kinda lass. With oats in the cupboard you will never starve. , Plus they make a gorgeous bath additive - sounds odd, but if you have an old sock or small cloth bag, add a decent handful of oats, (tie the end !) and lob in the bath/ run the tap through it, it makes a beautiful silky moisturising bath - great for kids with 'the pox', (chicken), or eczema or any dry skin condition.Today is NSD 11.Day 2 of house lockdown - dh is driving me nuts trying to add bits to the shopping list that we already have in the house. He is a total Panicking Wendy. The cough he has had for nearly 3 weeks already has now developed into headaches and body aches, shortness of breath if he does anything active and wracking coughing fits. He is of course still working an 8 hour day, and answering work emails at 10pm.I feel the leadership of this country is in total denial about how many people are actually living week to week, hand to mouth, with no savings or emergency fund, in low paid/no rights/no perks 'contracts', and how many small businesses are going to go bust over this. I am house quarantining for the NHS and the elderly. Not for those twits in suits with shiny ties.In more sinister news, m-i-l ended a text to dh with the chilling words ' I wish we lived closer' ***shudder***I will just park that thought and walk away from it, quickly.Hugs to all the poorlies, Hooray for t'interweb.

DS is off school, just Y9 at the moment, the headteacher is very sensible and seems to be handling things well. DS has done his school work remotely this morning and is having a break now.Spendy yesterday, went to B&Q and bought things to do DIY just in case they close, at least we can be getting on with things, seems like other people had the same idea as it was pretty busy.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Evening allNSD 4 for me today, as I haven't bought anything. Walked to the surgery this afternoon with OH and the dog to pick up my prescription (no spend as I am old and no longer have to pay), so got a bit of exercise in the fresh air, and hope not to have to go to the surgery again for a while! Not looking forward to the idea of shopping or supermarkets with the current madness, so am going to see how long I can avoid doing so. If I run out of something I will investigate the corner shop first. Might try the local farm shop after the weekend. The local butchers are fully stocked, and in many cases cheaper than the supermarkets, though I don't need any meat at the moment. I think sometimes people don't think about the little shops, being so used to going to the supermarket and getting everything they need. Definitely worth considering while the supermarkets are manic - I like markets normally, but am avoiding at the moment as they are invariably crowded.9

I’ve managed a NSD today taking me to 6 I think. There will be several more to come as I’m staying at home for the foreseeable future. So spends will be clumped together when I send mr PF out on an errand or two.Totally agree @DawnW the other day mr t was ransacked of meat but the lovely butchers about 20 steps away was brimming with amazing meat. It was lovely to see several other people in there buying. Not sure if they are regulars like me but glad of them either way for the butcher.10
