Cottage_Economy said:Managed to open mine this morning but DH has tried twice and keeps getting an error message, despite going through the online banking joint account. Although there was an error message at the end of my application, I received an email and it was present in my list of accounts when I checked. Not for DH.0

Ok, so DH tried for a third time and got this message. There's been no email received and no account is listed when he logs in. Just have to leave it now.

Tried 3 times and got the "we can't go ahead with your application" error message.
Tried a 4th time and refused saying I could only have one of this type of account.
Went back to the accounts list, and the new account was there.
I think their systems are overwhelmed.4 -

Nationwide Flex Regular Saver - does everyone agree that there is nothing to stop us making a 13th payment on 1/9/24? I read the T&Cs and didn't see anything about a maximum amount for the account.0

Nationwide still bombing out for me. Guess the IT team didn't plan for the demand on the computer.1
-
Nationwide - apart from the Prize Draw, any reason to keep Start to Save Issue 2 open? 5.5% currently and a trifling monthly amount, it was on my list of accounts to close anyway.
I can see it would remain useful for non taxpayers, but I have a YBS Loyalty ISA paying 5.2%, and want to keep my taxable interest below £1000.
I will probably use Start to Save issue 2 to feed the new Flex RS for the next 3 months, and then close it.0
