First Direct 7% £300 First of the month.
Skipton 7.5% £250 First of the month.
YBS 7% £500 First of the month.
Nationwide 8% £200 First of the month.
I feed them from my EA savings so it doesn't affect me too much.
Edit - one thing I am catching on to is paying them all as often as possible on the
1st of the month.
For a while I've staggered them but guess that just loses me interest even though its sat in a 5.2% account.0 -

mine is an internal SOThe screenshot is of the general 'regular payment' setup page, so they warn that SO's will be processed the next working day. There's no dedicated internal 'regular payment' setup page. The practice however is that internal SO's are processed on non-working days.Strictly speaking NW should change that wording, but I doubt they will.3 -

The monthly interest from my NS&I bond will feed –
Coventry first saver £1000.
First direct £300.
NatWest £150.
All easy accessible, I will give the Nationwide a miss.

mine is an internal SOYes it's misleading but it will go on the date you specifyIn the past when they used internal/roll account numbers it was a problem as you had to fund the RS from a NW account and the internal SO could trigger before the incoming payment. But now that they use regular sort code/account numbers you can fund it externally, ideally from another account that fires on the day you tell it to, e.g. Chase2 -
Managed to open mine this morning but DH has tried twice and keeps getting an error message, despite going through the online banking joint account. Although there was an error message at the end of my application, I received an email and it was present in my list of accounts when I checked. Not for DH.

Have I said I don't like standing orders before, I think so. No I only use SOs if required and usually £1 set up to be on the 1st of a month, I maintain the £1 in the current account, the exception being for First Direct. I pay into / top up as required to the limit, sometimes in advance of the SO.
I can see that this would be quite a job for @Bridlington1 but they're a masochist enjoy it.0 -
Unfortunately for me it’s a linked saver account and you need a current account. Fortunately for me, they’re running a switching incentive and I’ve just managed to open and apply for a switch. Thanks to whomever raised it a couple of pages back.Unable to open Saver though, hopefully it’s just too much stress on the servers.0
