I was not so much worried about 4p but about £250. But @Bridlington1's response has reassured me that all is in order.

Already made a withdrawal from my Christmas 23 YBS regular saver. I understand you can also close it. If I do, can anyone confirm I won't lose any interest? Thanks.0

Tried to open a Tipton & Coseley RS this morning via the app. Got to the very end of the process and got on-screen message that they need to confirm my identity and address and could I please ring them. Haven't got time to do that now but if it means sensding documents, even copies, in the post, I won't proceed.£6000 in 20230

Usual problems with YBS. Although I have been a member for more than 16 years, and have had at least one active account throughout that time, none of my open accounts is more than a year old.
In March when I applied for the Loyalty ISA, I was told I had to apply by post. I instead went to a branch 20 miles away, and they opened an account for me straight away.
This time, the website allows me to go throught the motions, but ends with an error message "Sorry, we're unable to retrieve your details at the moment. Please try again." Retry fails, and when you click on "back to savings products" it tells you "Sorry, this product is no longer available" - which is rubbish.
I've managed to make a telephone appointment with a branch tomorrow for them to open an account.
The call handler at YBS didn't know what the problem was. I humoured her by following her suggestion to log out, clear cookies, and log in again. That didn't work of course, and when I suggested what I thought the problem was, she agreed and offered the telephone appointment.
As stated before, always keep one old account open with YBS.
