I already have a Tipton account and the App. I applied via the App and not via the post. Not sure what you mean by "postal id reference". There was no request for ID. Got a confirmation text from Tipton. I funded the new account as soon as I had my account number. New account is showing in the App. £250 first deposit not yet showing in the App, but I am not concerned. It will probably show up tomorrow.

Thank you for the reply. I am a new customer and applied via the App, so they are sending me a ID reference in the post so I can log onto the App to view the account. I will make a deposit once I can log in. Thanks again.

YBS Loyalty RSs!

Seems to be 1 withdrawal day per year, £500 max monthly deposit.

I'm a YBS member and have been for years but as we know their site is dreadful.

All I can find are the standard regular savers.

Looks like it’s on moneyfacts, if you search RS then select existing customers these show up.

Yeah can’t see it on ybs site, however it only shows my accounts when you look for accounts you appear to be logged out, via the app just takes you to the site and it only shows the 5.25 R/S open to all.

There is an updated list of interest rates from YBS, dated today, which shows these new RS accounts.  I suggest checking the YBS Web Site after 9am.

Argh, how frustrating - my oldest YBS account was opened on October 5th 2022. I wonder if branches might be a bit more lenient?

correction - available in app pretty much straight away, zero balance as expected, funded from existing ybs account.
