You need to follow the process outlined by "descrabled" here:-
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/79879297/#Comment_79879297

You renew the RS to an easy access saver account, withdraw the money, then close the EASA, .

You might have to log off and on again once or twice for things to update.

Phoning Lloyds will only draw their attention to the loophole.  Please don't!

You think they haven't noticed what's going on by now ?!? 😉
How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)
  • Lloyds etc Regular Savers

If they were interested, surely Lloyds could/would have closed the loophole which allows conscientious savers to close down a fixed interest Regular Saver early by changing the type of account, closing down the changed account (with full interest at RS rate to date) and then opening a new Regular Saver without waiting for the original RS anniversary date? If they are not aware of the "loophole" being available and being used, surely this is a poor indication of their banking abilities?
Agree, though, that better not to phone them about this and draw attention to the issue.

Monmouth 8% - had email saying 'An account has been added to your Online Banking profile. Please log in to view the details' but nothing showing online - any ideas?

My Christmas Saver isn't showing either - do we have to add these ourselves?

Looking at posts on here, it is very inconsistent. I didn't get any e-mails. I applied early last week, received passbook on Saturday, funded on Saturday, added for online view on Sunday, showed as pending until this morning (Wednesday) when I could see £300 credited on 2nd September. 8% and no cash drag - can't complain :) Other thing I like about this is no faff (e.g. sending letters, cheques etc.).  I'm a bit disappointed I've missed the 7%, I was abroad on holiday and didn't bother to monitor the events properly, that's my own fault. 7% was on sale for only one or two days.

Once you have your account number, you can add the account manually.  It will show as Pending for a day or two and then show as a normal account.  As allegro120 states above, if your deposit was sent as soon as you had the account number, the amount will show when the account is upgraded from pending and will have the date backdated to when you sent the deposit.
