YBS are launching a regular saver at 4.5%.
Looks like no point for me to apply as I already have Christmas, which is better than this one.
    • You can only hold one Regular eSaver or Regular Saver account in your name.
    • If you are named as Main Holder on more than one Regular eSaver account, the most recent account opened will be transferred to the Internet Saver Plus Issue 13.
Is that the one that pays 5.5% pls?
I opened one in October which I think was 5% but increased to 5.5% since then.
It would be good to know so I can  think about delaying for this year's Christmas one if it looks like it may be better 😊

The Christmas Regular eSaver is a Christmas Regular eSaver, not a Regular eSaver (IMO) so I applied for the new one and will keep the old one. Didn't cross my mind, hopefully I didn't misinterpret the terms
I interpreted it the same way, I considered them to be 2 separate items so you can have one regular saver and one Christmas regular saver.

I've funded both for this month now anyway so I'll see what happens.
Please update as would be good to know if this works

The Christmas regular saver currently pays 5% and was launched earlier this year but is NLA. I think you may be thinking of their Loyalty Regular Saver, which is now at 5.5% as you say.

Useful benefit of the new Skipton - deposit by debit card which takes care of half the requirements for the Halifax/Natwest monthly cash-back.
Though payments made by debit card don't earn interest for the first 2 working days if I recall correctly.
5p a day. Compare with the faff of doing it in other ways.

Or Debit Card it to the Easy Access account (3.20%) a couple of days before and transfer it across to the RS on the FWDOTM!
    2.5p
Someone on the last two pages can't be bothered for £29 - it's all relative.

In the past Saffron does not allow you to have two RSA with them at the swam time. When you take your chance, they will close close it in about a week time so waste of time applying. But this new 9% is different. Is that correct ??
"You can only hold one Members Month Loyalty Saver, as well as one regular savings product at any time with Saffron."
My understanding you could have one Members Month Loyalty Saver and one regular savings product (?)
Has anyone managed to get  both of them ??
If not, is it possible to ask them to close the old RSA product and open this new RSA paying 9% interest??

@bridlington1 asked - they confirmed it is fine to hold:

    • Members Month Loyalty Saver
    • AND EITHER Small Saver OR Members Regular Saver

No, it was 4.75% and increased to 5% from 17th May.  I opened it in January this year so I'm guessing it wasn't available in October.

@schiff Which NatWest account needs spending by debit card for Cashback please? I know re HFAX, wondered if perhaps this was the NatWest Rewards CC, but surprised they don't filter for MCCs like Chase do when it comes to cashback

    Thank you,
Sorry what's NLA mean please? Does it mean No Longer Available?

Using a NatWest Debit Card to pay into Skipton (and others) is a useful way of getting more money into your NatWest RS.  Deposit £100.01 into Skipton with your NW DC and and extra £1.98 goes into your NatWest RS with double roundups.

Only relevant if you have not yet reached £5k in the NWRS.

I'm guessing this is what @schiff was thinking?
