The Christmas regular saver currently pays 5% and was launched earlier this year but is NLA. I think you may be thinking of their Loyalty Regular Saver, which is now at 5.5% as you say.pookey said:
Is that the one that pays 5.5% pls?allegro120 said:
Looks like no point for me to apply as I already have Christmas, which is better than this one.Bridlington1 said:YBS are launching a regular saver at 4.5%.- You can only hold one Regular eSaver or Regular Saver account in your name.
- If you are named as Main Holder on more than one Regular eSaver account, the most recent account opened will be transferred to the Internet Saver Plus Issue 13.
I opened one in October which I think was 5% but increased to 5.5% since then.
It would be good to know so I can think about delaying for this year's Christmas one if it looks like it may be better 😊
Sorry what's NLA mean please? Does it mean No Longer Available?0 -
Using a NatWest Debit Card to pay into Skipton (and others) is a useful way of getting more money into your NatWest RS. Deposit £100.01 into Skipton with your NW DC and and extra £1.98 goes into your NatWest RS with double roundups.ForumUser7 said:
@schiff Which NatWest account needs spending by debit card for Cashback please? I know re HFAX, wondered if perhaps this was the NatWest Rewards CC, but surprised they don't filter for MCCs like Chase do when it comes to cashbackschiff said:Useful benefit of the new Skipton - deposit by debit card which takes care of half the requirements for the Halifax/Natwest monthly cash-back.
Only relevant if you have not yet reached £5k in the NWRS.
I'm guessing this is what @schiff was thinking?2 -
I wanted to interpret it in this way, but didn't because of the risk of having my Christmas turned into low paying Issue 13. It will be interesting to see what happens with your attempt to have both.Bridlington1 said:
I interpreted it the same way, I considered them to be 2 separate items so you can have one regular saver and one Christmas regular saver.ForumUser7 said:
The Christmas Regular eSaver is a Christmas Regular eSaver, not a Regular eSaver (IMO) so I applied for the new one and will keep the old one. Didn't cross my mind, hopefully I didn't misinterpret the termsallegro120 said:

I've funded both for this month now anyway so I'll see what happens.0 -
Though they have been known to get a bit rattled if you do too many deposits by debit card so I'd use Skipton's debit card facility sparingly.Nick_C said:

I've just phoned my local branch. They've confirmed that you can hold both the Christmas Regular Saver and the new Regular Saver simultaneously. The same applies to the Loyalty Regular Saver that was launched last year.allegro120 said:

I've been depositing £500+ into Skipton EA by Halifax debit card for over a year and playing around with the £500. It's artificial. Doing it in addition for the new Skipton RS adds variety! I don't have a Natwest account and don't do roundups (can't be bothered)Nick_C said:

I was reading the terms again ro see if I could open both the current Branch RS and current ReS. I’d hoped this would be possible, like it was with the recent loyalty ISA, but no such luck.Bridlington1 said:
