Does anyone know how long it takes for First Direct to transform their regular saver into an easy access when it matures? Mine did on the 30th, I've had the interest applied but still can't access the money or open a new regular saver.
The terms say up to 5 working days:

It can take up to five working days for the account to convert and you'll earn interest at your new account's rate during that time. If you need access to it while this is happening, call us.

I opened a first direct rs back in 2019. It was opened on 27 August 2019. Just checked the current account statement and I can see an internal.transfer  of £ 3699.99 from my savings account to current account with date 26 AUg 2020.

But as another forumite has said they needed to call, it could mean that things have changed and now it takes longer for the transformation.

Edit: if it takes longer than 5 working days make it a point to complain and ask for compensation!

First Direct are (in my experience) always slow.  I always end up having to call them to get them to release the funds, as I don't want their 1.30% interest that'll it'll be earning in the easy access account.  They say allow 5 working days, but it's taken longer than that for me if I don't nudge them.
That's pretty rubbish really, every other bank I've used seem to manage alright it within a day or two. I'll give them until tomorrow before I call, but like you, I don't appreciate having my money stuck at 1.3%.

Mine also matured on 30th (a Sunday) but it appeared on Monday (a bank holiday).

However I applied for a new RS on the Monday bank holiday and that didn't appear until late last night. It said it could take a few days.

My DDs were internally switched to my new blue rewards compatible account by the bank - they said the DDs would all work as normal, but I’m wondering if this had something to do with it. Or maybe they’ll just be taken later today, rather than at 00:01 like normal

I suspect MON have once again become overwhelmed and having problems.

My turnaround was extremely quick. Posted application 1st class Sat 22/04, cheque processed 25/4, passbook received 26/04.
I didn't request a/c to be added, it was done automaticallythis time.

However SO sent yesterday for both the Coronation and Xmas savers are still not showing online.
The oddest thing has happened - I've logged on today to check the maturity date, and my £299 deposit is no where to be seen, it's even gone from the transaction history! It's not returned to the CA either. Very odd, and most concerning

Looks they have some system and/or procedural problems. My deposit to the XMAS saver is till not showing, and my Coronation Saver with its two deposits has still not been added to online banking. No money has been returned. I expect they will sort it before long and backdate the deposits to the correct dates/

I cancelled my Ecology regular saver due to a surplus of DDs. My Ecology easy access DD hasn't gone out yet though. Ecology have waited till 4th-5th of the month before debiting in the past irrespective of bank holidays so I wouldn't worry about it.

    EDIT:
    Has now gone through.
Mine went out today. Don't forget the beginning of the month was a Bank Holiday, so may have delayed it by a day

    Nationwide effective 1st May

    Start to Save Issue 2 -> 5.25%
Flex RS -> 4.25%, but if 4 or more withdrawals 1.70%
ForumUser7 I had Nationwide account, which I switched out this year. I do not have any current account or any other product with them. Can I open this account
    1. without opening a Current account?
    2. without any credit check?
    3. Is there a cool off period, before which I cannot apply for Nationwide products since I just switched out of them?

    Thanks

@ChewyyBacca The Nationwide Start To Save account doesn't require you to have a Nationwide current account but whether it's worth rejoining the NW for a £50/month RS that's only going to net you £33* after two years is up to you, I guess ! Their Flex RS isn't currently available.

    Edit *that's with a £25/month contribution so £50/month would obviously return more - well spotted, @ForumUser7 !
