Club Lloyds regular saver 2.5%
Just been looking on Lloyds website as my 2.5% saver is due to mature in two weeks.
Tell me, have I been asleep, is it correct that if you have this account you can’t renew it for a year once it matures?
I have just setup a 2% regular saver with them but loosing the 2.5% £400 a month saver is just too much to take.
I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.0 -

From memory, I think it's if you cancel the regular saver mid-term (ie rather than letting it mature) that you can't open another one for a year.

Once matured you can open a new Club Lloyd's regular saver and start again with £400 per month if that's what you're asking?2 -
Mature, transfer funds out, close account.trickydicky14 said:Club Lloyds regular saver 2.5%

Open new one, fund immediately
All done within 60-120 seconds online.3 -
As soon as the regular saver has matured and transferred into an easy saver with the interest you can open a new regular saver transfer £400 from the easy saver and set up a standing order for 1st of next month they allow 13 payments so £5200 will be in the account when it matures. Here’s hoping they keep the rate at 2.50%."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"4

Updates for the Feeder accounts post:
- Al Rayan does no longer allow new SOs to be set up.- Santander 123 interest reduces to 0.6% from August 3 20202 -
Presumably the Lloyds Monthly Saver allows a 13th payment as well? Are there any other accounts that allow a sneaky 13th payment for a 12 month Regular Saver? There is a link from page 1 to another forum on this subject but this is from 12 years ago.typistretired said:As soon as the regular saver has matured and transferred into an easy saver with the interest you can open a new regular saver transfer £400 from the easy saver and set up a standing order for 1st of next month they allow 13 payments so £5200 will be in the account when it matures. I think unless an account specifically refers to x payments or a max of £x in the account, I always do a 13th if it's worth it (eg. account matures on 15th, do a 13th payment on 1st; but not if matures on 5th)SuperHans1 said:

Santander regular Savers will automatically renew if there is no end date on the SO.Newly_retired said:I can’t see why anyone would sign up for a Santander RS at 0.75%
So some people may unwittingly renew at this rate.1 -
Doesn't really matter though as its instant accessVortigern said:
