I assume with this account, you will have to have a credit check to get this account regardless of overdraft or not?abz88 said:I can't see this being mentioned yet, but another to add to the Best Feeder Accounts is the Virgin Current Account which has no minimum pay in requirements, no DD or SS requirements and now paying 2% on the first £1000. You can have two, one personal and one joint.0 -
Hard credit checks are normal for current account applications. There is nothing really to worry about with the occasional current account application, and well-managed current accounts will contribute positively to good credit worthiness.Nuggy96 said:

I doubt that a single application for a current account will make any difference at all. However, if you are concerned, then just don't do it.0

I've tried to apply but it keeps saying the belowabz88 said:I can't see this being mentioned yet, but another to add to the Best Feeder Accounts is the Virgin Current Account which has no minimum pay in requirements, no DD or SS requirements and now paying 2% on the first £1000. Virgin Money, B, Clydesdale Bank and Yorkshire Bank are now one bank.
Since we already recognise you, verify your details to get started.
I have Virgin savings accounts but my details don't work when I click verify - for a start it asks for the 12th character of my password when my actual password is only 8 characters! Any way forward?0 -
Yes, this happened to me. It isn’t synchronised with the Virgin Money accounts yet, but with Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank, so the password it’s asking for is the one you used when you had one of their accounts. I got given a number to ring, but it was swift and easily opened.2

It could also be a Virgin credit card, or a credit card you held with Clydesdale or Yorkshire Bank1

Don't suppose there is a refer a friend incentive with this account?abz88 said:I can't see this being mentioned yet, but another to add to the Best Feeder Accounts is the Virgin Current Account which has no minimum pay in requirements, no DD or SS requirements and now paying 2% on the first £1000. No, there isn't. But if there was, it would be discussed on the Referrer's Board, not here.SuperHans1 said:Don't suppose there is a refer a friend incentive with this account?0 -

Trying again for a joint but when I select this, it's just the same details as my solo account right to the end, has anyone else found out how to do it?1
