But if you carry on with the application and put your other half's details in they will need their customer number etc to complete their side of the application and code will be sent to their mobile phone. Check your emails I received an email in which I was advised to forward to the other joint applicant"Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0

There is no section for my other half, it's just the same as my solo attempt and then a 'submit' button which I didn't press as I thought I'd just count as a single one again?typistretired said:But if you carry on with the application and put your other half's details in they will need their customer number etc to complete their side of the application and code will be sent to their mobile phone0 -
If you press submit you move on to the next section. Don't forget other half can have their own single current account too."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0

My Santander RS Mature Last April and all balance has was transfered to my Santander 123 AC. I just chechek it a few minutes ago the Interest rate is showing 2.0%. Is it true they have dropped again to 0.75%, or it i just for new account ??eddie7612 said:
You do sometimes get the old rate when these renew (I think you're locked into the rate when the renewal letter is sent out 2 weeks prior to maturity), so you may get lucky and get the 1.5% rate after maturity.vernall said:
My Santander Reg Saver is due to mature on Saturday at 3% and would of automatically renewed at the already dropped rate of 1.5% as the SO was ongoing. They have now dropped it again to 0.75%. Let’s just say I have now cancelled my SO lolVortigern said:
Santander regular Savers will automatically renew if there is no end date on the SO.Newly_retired said:I can’t see why anyone would sign up for a Santander RS at 0.75%
So some people may unwittingly renew at this rate.
Shows how things have changed when we're excited about 1.5%!

I don't qualify for that one, so I've applied instead for their separate "Society Anniversary Saver" RS product. Its 1.60% variable rate has survived a recent round of cuts, the £600 monthly max seems worthwhile, and this account seems quite flexible, e.g. it can be closed at any time without penalty. I know there are still some better RS products out there ... but I've already got them all!bsms1147 said:"Dudley Building Society Loyalty Regular Saver"
"Special conditions: You must also hold any savings account or a mortgage with them to open this account."
Worth pointing out that you must have "held a live savings account or have completed a Mortgage with the Society prior to 01/11/2018." to be eligible. The term of this product is one year. During this time, no withdrawals are permitted unless the account is closed. If you close the account before the anniversary, will you still get 1.6% up to that date without penalty ? I think you will get a lower interest for early close as this is a fixed term saving, but probably someome outthere has got a definite answer directly from Dudley..Could you give the closure intruction online or over the phone and ask them to transfer it to Current AC or only by post ?0 -
Just for the new issue. Previous issues are unchanged.adindas said:

Where does it state you can have one sole and one joint? I can't find that info.abz88 said:I can't see this being mentioned yet, but another to add to the Best Feeder Accounts is the Virgin Current Account which has no minimum pay in requirements, no DD or SS requirements and now paying 2% on the first £1000. You can have two, one personal and one joint.

When you have worked out how to get more than 1 sole and 1 joint, will you share the steps to get them, please? Probably best in the Virgin Money Current Account threadcrumpet_man said:Where does it state you can have one sole and one joint? I can't find that info.0
