I haven't noticed this Saffron account come up on here - will not be suitable for most as need to be within the Essex area, can only deposit £50/month and cannot have with other regular savers but is paying 4%

It doesn't say you can't so I assume you can but is it possible to just open the YBS account with cash?0

TSB was next door but two, so I dumped the £3040 there and then onwards to the preferred destination by this afternoon.
