I have both versions 1 & 2 of Coventry Regular Savers that’s why I advised to apply. I was logged in when I applied a few months ago and have made several deposits into the second too

Sorry you have lost me! They asked if anyone had applied for a second regular saver I told them to just apply as I knew from my experience you can open the second.

I opened my current Coventry RS back in Sept 19 when it was first introduced. Looking at the current version available it looks to be the same, 2.5% & up to £500 a month... Are there any actual differences between the accounts?EPC
The guarantee in the guide on this thread doesn't seem to be there for Regular Saver 2. The summary box only says this
'This account is designed for saving your money. After the 14 day ‘cooling-off period’ (see overleaf), you can take out money or close your account if you need to, but there will be a charge equal to 30 calendar days’ interest on the amount withdrawn. Notice for withdrawal/closure cannot be given. The charge will be deducted from the balance of the account at the time of the withdrawal.'

The terms and conditions their website points to doesn't mention the concession either, at least not in the obvious section.
This guide's post also needs updating in respect that the account month starts on the day you open it, as per the Santander monthly saver.1 -
Sorry for stirring up trouble asking about the Coventry RS earlier ....A couple of more questions if I may...I opened my current Coventry RS back in Sept 19 when it was first introduced. You did not stir up trouble. My fault for being cautious, as in the past when I have been honest with accounts, I have received a private message from a member, they know who they are, telling me to delete as I am relieving glitches. There is no difference except the date you open is when you can make second deposit. So I find myself depositing for the first on 26th and the second on 10th of month. I have been on this forum since 2008 but do not post as much as there not many good accounts as there used to be."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"1

Hello Yorkshire Boy!
I was letting them know that you have to stick to opening date unlike other Regular Savers which you can pay in 1st of month which I find irritating.
