Is this now replacing the previous thread in its entirety?

EDIT: the answer is yes, just saw that in the old thread.

First of all, thank you Special_Saver2 for all your hard work with this forum, it's really appreciated that you take the time to update & maintain it.
I posted this question last week with regard to the Principality BS, now I wish to open a RS with the Halifax.  If I open one today, can I top it on the 2nd March or do I have to wait until the same day next month?

    Thanks

    Excellent, thank you.
Now my next question, how do I subscribe to this thread?  I used to get notifications of replies on the old one, but I can’t seem to get it to work on this one!

Two options - my preferred one is to bookmark the thread (button towards the top of the page) then make sure you have notifications turned on for Bookmaked threads in your profile settings.
Alternatively, just enable notifications for threads you've participated in.
  • Thanks, seems to be working now.

I have this thread bookmarked, but when I open it it keeps jumping back to post 2, rather than last unread???  Any ideas why?
How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.52% of current retirement "pot" (as at end October 2024)
  • I have just taken out the Principality and Virgin Money Fixed 2% 1 yr regular savers. I am toying with taking out the Coventry Regular saver at 2.5% as well, but it's variable and given that interest rates are crashing right now, I don't know whether it's worth taking the risk and ending up with something that's earning less than everything else I have.
