Is anyone able to confirm the minimum payments each month for these accounts please? Thinking of reducing what I pay into them. Thanks!abz88 said:Email through from YBS, they are further reducing their rates after the second BoE base rate reduction
-Regular Saver - down to 1%
- Regular Saver Issue 2 - down to 1.3%
- Regular Saver Issue 3 - down to 1%.
New rates take effect from 20/04/20200 -
Looking at Issue 3, I can only find references to the maximum amount each month. So I presume the minimum is zero.molineuxwaz said:

I was checking their site and came across the Christmas Saver (Issue 2) - 1.55% and £1-£1000 a month - has this mean mentioned on here / anyone have it? Surprised if I've missed anything on here.surreysaver said:
I posted my application this morning. They should be able to verify me electronically, but if they start wanting certified copies I won't bother responding to them.Notepad_Phil said:
I just wish they did online applications. I'm not sure I want to go through the hassle of a snail mail application - especially if they decide that they can't identify us and decide they need further documentation in which case Mrs Phil would need to get a certified copy of her passport or driving licence.Deleted_User said:The Ecology Building Society RS is still available at 1.75% pa variable, up to £250 per month and unlimited in time. I opened mine in 2017 to avail myself of their facility to deposit by direct debit, paying in £50 per month. I'm now increasing this to £250. Two withdrawals per year (unlimited). Third withdrawal leads to closure.
I applied for that Monmouthshire Saver Plus yesterday, and am still waiting to hear back from them

There are others paying better rates even now - but no harm in applying. I think unless you are an existing member (and have online access) you must apply by post or in branch.liamcov said:

They also operate a saver plus regular saver which allows up to £1,000 to be invested per month and doesn't have the November to January withdrawal restrictions (i.e. you can make one withdrawal a year and get the full 1.55%). Its a variable rate but includes a 1% fixed bonus so you are guaranteed at least 1% for the first year whatever as long as you invest at least £20 each month. 1% is not great - but its not bad in the current climate!

It says you can only make deposits in branch or by post. A long way to make a monthly trip, and is it worth the price of a second class stamp every month?liamcov said:

Shame you can't apply for a savings account while logged into your account. These seem to have replaced their regular saver. My Celebration regular saver matures this month."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"1
