Me too, although I received an email a few days later after it was reported on here. So maybe I'll get an email in a few days time, unless someone can link to the YBS website detailing this information (I've had a look, but cannot find)Every_Penny_Counts said:apt said:Swingeing further cuts on YBS monthly savers. On 18 March MSE mentioned SMARTSAVE as a possible place to invest for fixed term at +1.5%.
Having opened an account, yesterday I moved a large deposit from my current account.to new SMARTSAVE account. On trying to confirm safe arrival of funds I am unable to log on,or contact SMARTSAVE.
I now notice this company has disappeared from MSE latest recommendations.
Has anyone else any experience/knowledge of this issue please?
Really hoping I'm worrying for nothing............

Can you tell me what the Monthly Regular Saver and the Monthly Regular Saver Issue 3 will be, or are they both going down to 1%?apt said:Swingeing further cuts on YBS monthly savers. Issue 2 now 1.30% others 1%.I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0 -
My email arrived on 20th March. It seems they take days to send them out!Every_Penny_Counts said:apt said:Swingeing further cuts on YBS monthly savers. In my email from them today there was a link and have cut and pasted the regular saver rates being reduced
New Interest Rates from 20/04/2020
Monthly Regular Saver Issue 2 £ 2.50% - 1.30%
Monthly Regular Saver Issue 3 2.10% - 1.00%

I know it's not technically a regular saver but does anyone know when the interest rate on the Nat West Savings builder is going to decrease to 1%?1

I will probably keep Issue 2 as 1.3% is better than where the withdrawal would go; probably close the other once the 1.6% runs outsurreysaver said:
I wonder if its worth keeping them open in case interest rates go back up?apt said:Swingeing further cuts on YBS monthly savers. Issue 2 now 1.30% others 1%.1 -
Hadn't seen that was going down! Where did you hear that?afis1904 said:I know it's not technically a regular saver but does anyone know when the interest rate on the Nat West Savings builder is going to decrease to 1%?
Looks like the BoS and Lloyds 1% current accounts will be making a comeback

What about the Monthly Regular Saver (the one that preceded Issue 2 - it was a two-year product, and mine doesn't mature until July)?typistretired said:In my email from them today there was a link and have cut and pasted the regular saver rates being reduced
