I already have their issue 34, can I open issue 35 as well?
I rang to check I could open a 34 when my 33 hadn't yet finished; they confirmed both could be held by same person as they are different issue numbers; that is the rule Principality set in the 33/34/35 T&C. Therefore we have started issue 35 as well, no queries from their end. All good.2 -
what about Leeds bs rs ? I already got i55, can I have the latest issue ?0

You are still entitled to a passport even if you don’t use it for travelling. Only you can know whether £88.50 to cover 10 years represents value for money for you. There are a whole lot of preferential options to make applications possible for disabled people : https://www.gov.uk/passport-services-disabledMichaelAP said:
Snap….. I am classed as 80% disabled. Not allowed a driving license and do not own a passport as travelling would be a logistical nightmare. Sometimes these requirements leaves you a feeling of being singled out…. A form of discrimination.dgpur said:Finally got the invite to open a Zopa current account (to get their RS offering of course). and they require photo ID. There are millions of people in the UK who lack photo ID (very often disabled, as I am). So frustrating.
Other, cheaper, options might be Voter Id or Citizens Card though these might not be accepted by financial institutions as proof of ID.
I get what you both say and yes it is an option. Just angers me though when there are other methods that could be taken into account but never listed, Blue Badge for one.flaneurs_lobster said:
I understand your annoyance but is it not worth considering getting a passport just for Id purposes? It's the equivalent of £8.80 a year for a universally(-ish) accepted identification document.MichaelAP said:

The financial institution needs to have the ability to verify the ID. For passports and driving licences there is accredited software which does this verification against Government databases, and these methods can be used cost effectively for tens of millions of people. I am not sure this is is the case for potential alternatives.
Could you open a separate thread please if you want to discuss this further, as it's way off topic for the Regular Saver thread.

This got me to wondering .. I know some forum members have a few RS accounts, is 9 or 10 close to the maximum or record that anyone has ?Bridlington1 said:
I've currently got 9 regular savers with Principality BS and depending what rate their 6 Month RS Issue 2 shall be I may choose to make it a nice round 10 before too long.0 -
The t&C's seem not to allow this....You are only allowed one account per customer including joint accounts. You may only hold one Leeds Building Society Regular Saver product at a time. If a second Regular Saver account is opened all the money in the second account will be transferred to the current instant access account available to new customers.allegro120 said:
