Still no withdrawal option showing for those who let it auto convert to the EA.
Wish I’d just specified the full contributed amount and let all of the interest stay, rather than doing this because I wanted to leave behind the minimum possible to retain membership.0 -

You can pay in up to £200 PCM.
Might be useful for those saving towards next year's Isa allowance.

Ps thanks to each and every person who posts on this and the other savings accounts threads. I've learned so much.
Nine regular savers now and counting. I had to actually write them down tonight so I remembered. A drop in the ocean to some but I'm looking for more until next year's Isa allowance resets as if I pay into these I think it will save me tax next year when they mature.
Regarding the Principality 6 month RS I'm afraid @kazza242 beat you to it back in June.
It certainly is a nice little hobby. I'm on 53 at the moment (not all are actively used though).cheekyweegit said:simonsmithsays said:cheekyweegit said:First time poster on this thread so not sure if this one is appropriate but Principality Building Society has a 6 month regular saver paying 8% interest.

The RS you've highlighted is on the first page with a plethora of other goodness for you.
Good luck
Now trying for number ten.
Didn't realise how addictive this could be.
I'll probably open Principality at 5.15% at some stage speculatively but will hold off until it looks like it is about to go NLA.
I missed out on HSBC's 7%er due to sitting on it.
Principality's is good as it's fixed, but would want to wait before opening it (or could open it speculatively as somewhere to put money in the future if rates elsewhere go down)I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?2 -

In the case of Principality BS their accounts have consistently disappeared from moneyfacts at midnight on the day they go NLA, then have been pulled later that morning (recently this happened with their RS Issue 34).
In the case of others (e.g. HSBC) there typically isn't any warning.5 -
Can I show my ignorance and ask what NLA means? Thanks0

Just received the 'rejected deposit' email from Gatehouse.Funds will be returned to source account within 2 working days2

I'm sure someone will post regarding the bouncing external 13th payment from the Gatehouse RS, but could those forumites who do see the payment return let us know when it has. The reason I ask is to see if Gatehouse are blocking only internal transfers! I think that's a slim chance ...... but....!
TIA.1 -

Not yet. I didn't open the account until 4th November, so expect to receive the funds then. But my EA account has the £10 in it, with the balance showing as transferred outI consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?1
