I transferred £300 shortly after 8 this morning. No message or notification like the above screenshots to inform me it wouldn't be accepted.SJMALBA said:
Me too, and I was surprised when I didn't receive the usual email & SMS confirmation of deposit.GetRichOrDieSaving said:
I sent £300 this morning via faster payment so now expecting this to bounce back. Thanks for the heads up.PloughmansLunch said:13th payment is not allowed for my Gatehouse RS if anyone else is trying to squeeze one last deposit in this month
The Key Product Information document states that £300 is the maximum that you can pay in 'each calendar month', and there's no mention of a maximum account balance, so not sure why a 13th payment has been rejected?
But no usual notification email to acknowledge the deposit.
As of time of writing this (shortly before 8pm), the £300 has been neither credited to the RS nor returned to me.0 -
I'm in the same boat as you two. They refunded me £600 today from the second reg saver I opened yesterday.Plus 5p interest.0

First time poster on this thread so not sure if this one is appropriate but Principality Building Society has a 6 month regular saver paying 8% interest.
You can pay in up to £200 PCM.
Might be useful for those saving towards next year's Isa allowance.

Ps thanks to each and every person who posts on this and the other savings accounts threads. I've learned so much.
Nine regular savers now and counting. I had to actually write them down tonight so I remembered. A drop in the ocean to some but I'm looking for more untill next year's Isa allowance resets as if I pay into these I think it will save me tax next year when they mature.

Regarding the Principality 6 month RS I'm afraid @kazza242 beat you to it back in June.
It certainly is a nice little hobby. I'm on 53 at the moment (not all are actively used though).cheekyweegit said:

I'll probably open Principality at 5.15% at some stage speculatively but will hold off until it looks like it is about to go NLA.3 -
YBS payment now received - mid morning on a Saturday is pretty good!simonsmithsays said:
I had three Regular Savers mature today with all having, at least some of the, proceeds due to land in a Nationwide Current account.TheWoodler said:
It looks as if people who requested a full withdrawal got theirs first thing, but those of us with a maturity option and part withdrawal are awaiting funds in the nominated account.Digital_Payback said:
I asked for £20 to go to a Tipton EA Account and the rest to my nominated current account.I wouldn't worry - I asked for the majority of mine to be sent to my nominated account which is yet to happen (£10 is correctly showing on the Tipton Easy Access). The RS Saver is now a Maturity EA Saver in the app as of this morning, but no funds yet in the nominated account.Maybe I’ll have to wait to Monday.I can see a FP applied against the withdrawal component in my maturity option but it hasn’t arrived yet.
Cambridge BS - top marks arrived around lunchtime
Tipton BS and Yorkshire BS - still waiting.4 -
£6000 in 20230

Still no withdrawal option showing for those who let it auto convert to the EA.
Wish I’d just specified the full contributed amount and let all of the interest stay, rather than doing this because I wanted to leave behind the minimum possible to retain membership.0
