Out of the blue today, received the invitation from Zopa to open their Bank account. Done in seconds and opened the 7.5% RS. Another good day at the office

Did you have any money in with them? Mine is with zero balance for ages but if they would want more of my business, they could have that by offering me the reg saver and I would happily do business with them again. Not sure if bouncing a few hundred through would trigger the the switch to allow me taking part in their offer.jaypers said:Out of the blue today, received the invitation from Zopa to open their Bank account. Been zero balances since I moved everything out in March. Keep an eye on your emails.pecunianonolet said:

Did anyone receive an email from Gatehouse Bank advising them on the change of funding information, and know what they mean by ' Secondary reference: Account Number XXXXXXX'? Up until now, I've just been using my application reference number, as the reference text.Is the only change what you enter for the payee name?0

Melton Mowbury Building Society
Can I just check, what was everyone else's experience with getting their nominated bank account verified electronically with Melton? They seem to be insisting that it can only be done by sending them an original or certified bank statement by post.0 -
In my case I never had to send them anything. I gave them my nominated bank account details, they sent me a code in the post, which I inputted into online banking and that was it. I was able to make withdrawals over the phone after that without issues.qbadger said:Melton Mowbury Building Society

You don't need to change anything if your payee is already set up and running. For a new payee set up you should use your name, select personal (not business) and use your account number (digits only) as reference and this should be confirmed by CoP.orange-juice said:Did anyone receive an email from Gatehouse Bank advising them on the change of funding information, and know what they mean by ' Secondary reference: Account Number XXXXXXX'? I used my Chase account to check what returned a full COP match rather than partial and put that on the form, and nominated the account that the opening cheque was drawn on. One or both may have helped in me not being required to send anything.qbadger said:Melton Mowbury Building Society

Usual drill:
Leeds BS Regular Saver (Issue 57) at 5.1% going NLA and being replaced by Issue 58 at the same rate but with a new maturity date of 2/11/2026
Chorley Building Society Regular Saver (31.10.2025) at 5.15% replaces their Regular Saver (30.09.2025) at the same rate.10
